"Another Brother" to be on The Late, Late Show (UPDATE: Changed to 4/10)

My apologies. The set went great, but I'm a little disturbed that it won't air until the 10th...however, it's been a good day, and thanks to everyone for being so supportive.

 

Well, I can erase the DVR from last night then and set it again for the 10th.

Not quite as scenic. Minnesota. It was 70 last week and now there's snow on the buds on my lilac bushes.

 

The official high last Monday (03/26) was 81 .

You're right. I think according to WCCO that was the hottest its ever been in the Twin Cities in March.

i can vouch for that. Billy's talent is only exceeded by his heart. he's just a good person.

 

Completely off topic, but I've given the police a hard time around here, and I have to give kudos when they're due.

I had a blowout on the freeway yesterday. I managed to pull off on a feeder and got to work. The problem was the lugs wouldn't come off. I was literally stepping on the lug wrench with all of my weight. It wouldn't come off. A policeman pulls over and asks if I need any help. He tries to budge the lug, and can't do it, either. Then he says he'll be back. He comes back with a cheater pipe and a mallet hammer. We're able to take one lug off that way. Then, while trying to remove the others, we notice we're bending the lug wrench. We both sit there trying to figure out how to get these off. He calls a wrecker service. They can't do it. A "pop-a-lock" guy comes by and tries it. He can't budge them.

Then, the policeman says he has an idea and drives away. He comes back (the tire was ruined), and tells me to follow him. I got a police escort to a tire place that was finally able to get them off. The officer just gives me a wave and tells me to help him if he's ever stranded.

I'll say, it was really cool to know that there were still officers like that in Houston.

I'm writing a letter to his district. I hope he gets a little reward for it, if possible.

good question.. the 10th as in on the 9th after 12am or the 10th at night?

 

I'm pretty sure it will be on the next show and not this one. They list 5 shows (one for each day) on the website, and AB is on the 2nd one that starts on Tuesday (with Quentin Tarantino and Laura Prepon).

Looks like Kurt Russel is on this one, so that seals it.

 

Couple of things...

Thanks again for the interest. You guys really didn't have to but you did and I am very appreciative.

I have no idea what they are going to air, I did 5 minutes but sometimes they cut out bits for timing purposes and because of the flow of the show, rarely does the entire 5 minutes air.

Everything went really well except for my favorite new joke, "White Doctor". I got nothing but made a little bit of a statement.

My Dad and my Son made me promise that I would at least mention them so I did. I actually closed with a story about my Dad's gym. Thought about working in something about the site I promise you, but they monitor every word and I didn't want to take a chance on doing something unexpected and have my segment not air at all. Sorry.

Saw Rose in the dressing room and she is not all that attractive without make-up, I actually thought she worked at the studio as someone's assistant.

Ferguson was cool. He thought I was funny and told me to send another transcript (set) in 6 months.

I actually had fun, it was the best of my short game and I'm just glad that someone other than me thought it was funny, I hope you do too.

 

Congrats again and I hope to see it tonight...You know, I saw Rose's tata's in a movie last night...It was with Ben Affleck and was called Going All the Way or something like that...She has nice cans...Is it true most ladies look better on screen...
