They couldn't possibly begin season 3 RIGHT AFTER season 2 ended. No one can endure that kind of stress for 48 hours straight! ... Or can they?
Come on, the only thing holding him back is a little ventricular fibrillation...no biggie. Overall, I thought it was decent season finale. Buffy's series finale kind of disappointed though.
Oh, so get this: On Sunday, I was at the LA Coliseum for the NFL Rookie Shoot. About an hour into the shoot, one of the guys finds a couple of bullet shells lying around the archway area of the Coliseum. We were all like "Daaaaaaaamn, this neighborhood is ghetto." The matter was then dropped and forgotten. Flash forward to last night's 24 episode. I was freaking out because the big shootout took place where I was standing only 48 hours prior to watching the show. So, I get into work today, start talking with my boss, and somehow, the conversation steers towards the discarded bullets we found in LA. He then says to me, "Yeah, those bullets were obviously blanks becuase of [yadda yadda yadda]." Suddenly, it clicked in my head. Bullets? Blanks? 24? The bullets we found MUST have been from the filming of the last episode! Pretty damn cool, IMO.
What I don't get is why do they think that will start a war? They already figured out the conspiracy. These guys' goal is to go to war with the Mid East. I don't see how this accomplishes that. One interesting thing -- the guy that made the call to the guy on the boat. Is he in the gvt? Who else could've known that the attack was called off? I'm sure we'll find out. This show is amazing. Anyone else hear something about a 24 movie? Someone told me they heard something about it.
I wonder how they'd do that.... a 24 hour movie!?? Or, a 3-hour movie with 7 separate sequals? I've always felt that each episode was like watching a mini-movie, with the excellent editing and actual set locations. Regardless, if it was a movie, they'd either have to abandon the real-time format, or retitle the movie "2.5"
