He know he failed 3 times in a row trying to be a superstar and got mad because he didnt get a superstar call.
It's not about talent? If you have no talent at all, you will lose in the playoffs if you make it. We have no go-to guy who can set up shots for teammates or for himself.
If Yao was double- or triple- teamed, the other Rox players are having an advantage by playing 4 on 3 (or even 2) offense. Scola is a consistent shooter for 2; perhaps another player can shoot an open 3. The main point is that they must not rush the shot. That's something for Coach Adelman to work out before the playoff.
No team goes 82-0. One lost is not the end of the season. The team will get better and I am sure they will address the fronting issue.
Ron Artest....as much and as great as he is in this game, he failed to remember one thing and that thing may very cost us the game. He failed to use his strength...which is to post up and drive to draw fouls. He want to be the hero at the end by jacking up 3s. He pretty wave Yao off when Yao is fronted. For a very long time...they could not get Yao the ball. To make matter worst, Brooks got screwed and Adelman failed to use Lowry (maybe he's injured). The problem is not able to give Yao the ball.
people need to calm down, yes we did choke this one way but we need to learn from our mistakes now rather then in the playoffs..in a way its good that this happen to tell us that although we are playing better w/o tmac we need to better our self defensively and in that we learn from...
And that was my point, they are moody. They win one game and hype them to death and then lose a game and the sky starts falling.
Also AB is the new Rafer while Lowry is the new AB. When Rafer was starting most fans wanted AB, not AB is starting and now we want Lowry. It never ends...
It's very annoying when posters who have been here for two months at most make threads like this. Couldn't this have gone in Clutch's knee-jerk thread? Yes.
yep. naive, stupid, dramatic, moody, fickle we'll make the playoffs with ease and we'll get beyond the 1st round. after every loss somebody on clutchfans swears they saw a technicality that will ruin the rest of the season...it's insane at best.
A gut-wrenching loss like the one to Chicago last night is discouraging. However, despite this travesty, I believe the Rockets are progressing nicely. Their overall pace is faster and the players seem more motivated. For much of the season I doubted making the first round let alone winning the second. Now, with a little luck and more disciplined shooting and defense, I think we can win the first and second rounds. Color me foolish but optimistic.
that's the attitude we should have as rockets fans!!!.....not pessimistic crap like the op said, I truly believe as we continue to gel, and Lowery and Brooks get more comfortable running the point we can be a threat in the playoffs
