I'm all for responsible gun control, but the whole assault weapon ban/ full auto AK47 assault on America has become a bit of a myth. When is the last time there was some sort of major attack with assault weapons in the states ? The bank robbers back in the 90's is the last major incident I can think of where the cops were out gunned. Those guys would have had those weapons regardless of their legality. America loves liquor, drugs, fast cars, and guns -- nothing is going to change that -- legal or not.
No offense but your an idiot.. Guns don't kill anybody, its the people who pull the trigger. Yeah its not the people committing the act of robberies fault now is it?
He is not talking about slam fire where the firing pin remains in the extended or "fire" position but a bumpfire which is even dumber where you actually have to move the trigger with each pull. Slamfire is true full auto, bumpfire is not which is why you were confused probably. You are also right about the conversion. There is a huge myth that just because the guns look evil they are easily converted. In fact this is untrue. The ATF has regulated guns that are easily converted in their semi-auto versions already. For example the small 9mm pistols which shot from an open bolt in their normal form (Mac-10) are no longer legal to operate this way unless they are a legal full auto. They stopped the legal manufacture of them in 1992.
Trying to get me to feel sorry for somebody who was gunned down committing a carjacking is like nailing Jell-O to the wall. It is awfully entertaining, but you are destined to make no real progress. How many times have we seen the victim of a carjacking end up dead at the scene? This man had every right to defend himself. We really do live in an f'ed up society when we are more concerned with the carjacker than we are about the victim who felt like he needed to defend himself. Not to mention the fact that killing somebody will haunt his thoughts for the rest of his days regardless of how justified he was.
