Fish should be banned from office microwaves. Doesn't get any worse than that. Our building banned popcorn altogether. It wasn't that people burned it ...but that they throw the bag in the garbage and catches things on fire. Twice the fire dept was deployed to our building to put out popcorn trash fires. Whodathunk?
not even the same thing. popping popcorn goes through a process whereby several kernels pop down to only a few kernels popping. once at the point of few kernels popping and becoming fewer and further between...it's time to stop popping. once stopped, then some kernels will still pop. the people at work who burn the popcorn are usually the people who set the microwave to high (too many mins) and walk away only to come back to an inferno. i refer to it as short microwave popcorn attention deficit disorder (SMPADD). lol. i forgive those people who burn popcorn. i don't mean to make light of this terrible disease...especially since others are usually choking on the burnt popcorn fumes. i wonder how that compares to second-hand smoke. hmm. besides, it would take a hell of a lot to burn a hot pocket to a cinder. should you kill yourself? doh.
