Recently watched Sword Gai Currently watching My Hero Academia Bleach takes so long for me to get into . Someone recommended JOJO's Bizarre Adventure - I might try based on watching from Episode 1 maybe better Rocket River
I would say no. Anime by the easiest and most sensible definition is animation from Japan. You might say it's anime-like or anime-esque, and that's referring more to the common style we associate with "anime." But, no, it's American. Tons of my anime friends love it, though. Good shows are good shows.
Depends on the definition, yours is the Western one. In Japan itself, every animated flick is seen as Anime, there's no split between Japanese and Western productions.
I need One Punch Man season 3 to come out yesterday already. It has become my favorite anime with the jokes, the action, the various artwork they display and their character development. Ive rewatched season 1 maybe 5 times and just finished season 2 for the 3rd time.
Agreed. I don't often find an anime that I would be interested in re-watching multiple times. One Punch Man together with Overlord and FMA (and maybe HxH) are the rare exceptions.
What if it's made in Japan for an American audience? Or if it's made by all Japanese people on work visas in the US? Or what if it's called 'Originating in Japan'?
Trying to find a anime that I watched on the shorts channel about 5 years ago or longer. It was about 2 clans set in ancient Japan and all of the family members had some kind of animal or insect power and there was a Romeo and Juliet subplot I thought it was 7 deadly sins but that title is a much newer anime. Anybody know the name of this?
It’s set in pretty nightmarish worlds / dimensions and the way the magic works and how the dimensions interact is fun and original. Also the lighthearted way the characters act is striking when compared to the world they’re in. Give it a try !
Don't really like "lighthearted" anime I loathe the extreme reactions to stuff, (eyeballs shooting out and extreme faces) will check it out but it's probably not for me.
just finished S1 of Dorohedoro on Netflix...I enjoyed it...I really hope they do a S2 the storyline has me invested
I have tried to watch black clover twice and every time I give up, not going back. I almost gave up on MHA but it grows on you once you get the back stories. Bakuga is a straight psychopath, WTF dude? Anybody have any idea about this show. Trying to find a anime that I watched on the shorts channel about 5 years ago or longer.
