OMG, where the hell did than run come from, Sun with a good penetration and finish. He's long for a point-guard.
Is the coach speaking english? LOL i can only understand 50% of the time but he said something like Blah blah change your attitude. blah blah defense defense. no 2nd shots. That translator is a saint...
imho he can be a servicable starter in the NBA, but his handles need a LOT of work... he has the athleticism though.
Chen Jianghua - I heard he has a streetball background, and it shows, both good and bad. He has the best handles and is the most aggressive chinese guard I've ever seen on the CNT. On the downside he's sort of a ballhog, but hey, streetball right? Zhu Fangyu - The Chinese Steve Novak? This guy has been on fire from 3. What did Mingas do to get booed every time he gets a touch?
That last play failed. UBER FAIL. They were supposed to give yao the ball and that pg just froze when they jumped the screen.
I think it's funny that the coach speaks English in the huddle. "In last five seconds, pick and roll, Chen with Yao." Didn't work out, but Yao did his part.
I missed that Spain game. In this game, everytime #15 (Mingas) gets the ball, the crowd rains down boos. Did he take a cheap shot at Yao or something? I missed the 1st Q.
Why on earth do they jack up 3pt shots when yao has his man and the entire angola team pinned under the basket?
someone please pay Gomes to get out of Angola and play in atleast the Euroleague, this guy is a talent.
Dug up some videos and scouting reports on Jianghua. He's "supposedly" only 19, and considered a better prospect that Sun Yue with his speed and aggressiveness. I wouldn't mind taking a flier on him if we had a mid-late 2nd round pick.
