It probably is, but I'll be honest, I've had the same thoughts this year. Last night, we were downing some margaritas at La Mexicana and I nearly called the Bagwell HR (thought it, didn't say it) using this reasoning. Probably not logical, but the perception's out there. What you doing tonight? We're gonna go white trash and bowl at midnight.
Ugh... 5 ER in 4 2/3. He had to be lifted before the 5th ended. At first I was mad this game was not on TV... now i'm glad I don't have to waste the rest of the night. Seeing at how many people have posted in this forum, it looks like nobody even realizes there is a game goin on.
I was busy scraping off my shins with a potato peeler. It was more exciting. And less painful. I think I'll get back to it now.
Bagwell hit his 2nd homerun in as many nights. Anyone have a clue how long that Cortizone shot will keep Bagwell pain free?
WOW>....just....WOW!. I come back to the US....and we are freaking one game over .500. Pathetic. What the hell happened to this team. I am happy today although we lost, because of the reality that the Lakers are blowing apart. I am so happy they lost! Way to go Detroit!! Anyways.....hmmm.
I'm sure the game was already out of reach at that point; either when the Astros are up big or down big seems to be the time when Bagwell contributes. It's good to see that he's atleast living up to his billing as a power hitter and hitting the ball out of the park again though.
Astros in trouble. Bases loaded, Miller still pitching. 5th inning. 2 outs. Please get the out. PLEASE!!!! 0-0.....so far.
OH MY GOD!!! FANS A BOOOOING!!!! Easy EASY EASY PLAY!!!! Jeff Kent blows it!!!! Runner scores. Error on kent. He didn't throw the ball in time. UGH! BOOOOO..... Yes....obviously I am back and watching my stros. Get used to my 2 year old posts..... Come on Miller get him out!!!
There's really not much more that can go wrong with this team... next thing you know, the opponents will start hitting inside the park HR's without even putting the ball in play. At least Miller was able to limit the damage to one run.
