I never had to block anyone either, but I'm putting Swoly-D on ignore, at least temporarily, for being a complete A-HOLE.
I literally just woke up from a dream where I met Angelina Jolie post surgery. She was still hot, but that's all I remember at this point.
Christina Applegate had to do this too. I remember reading an interview where she would cry every day for a while after the surgery. I don't think she had any implants after, either. Definitely very important for public women to be public about these issues in an attempt to reduce the stigma of mastectomies and promote awareness.
wish her the best...it must be really hard for her...women sometimes are devastated that they had the mastectomy...wish her the best...
I normally give people the benefit of the doubt and assume they're just trolling on purpose but....do you perhaps have a learning disability? That's some stupid **** you're saying.
If you think having money trumps everything, tell me how much you would sell your mother for? Your kid? Your wife? How about your limbs? If someone offers to stuff you in a prison for the rest of your life, but offers you "millions of dollars", will you go for it?
I've said my peace. If you and others want to have an adult conversation without resorting to the name-calling like that would even solve anything aside from making you feel better about insulting one another, we can. Anyway, thanks for the good arguments, kaleidosky, CrazyDave, BamBam, rezdawg, FLASH21, almost macalu... maybe y'all aren't big fans of celebrities, and could have a neutral view of things and discuss this on an unbiased level?
^ Wish I could believe you but something tells me that you will post again in this thread because that is "how you roll", lol.
You are an idiot. She is not courageous for getting the surgery. She is courageous for being public with her treatment when she did not have to. More women may now get tested. Women who have brca1 might be more likely to have a double mastectomy now that Angelina Jolie has had the procedure.
This one isn't worth a response, based on what I said and the way "I roll" that you noted. Do you agree, Manny? I'm also waiting for a worthy argument that hasn't been brought up before, too.
You start out your rant with an emoticon and WTF to try to bring more attention to your post. You call Angelina Jolie "some actress" to try to dismiss her acting ability, as if a bunch of dudes on a basketball forum give two ****s about Angelina Jolie other than the fact that she is hot. Two of the previous 21 posts before yours called her courageous. That is 9.5% "sir". Clearly you are not reading this right. No one called it a triumph, or talked about her listening to her doctors. I could not find a single post "tripping" until yours. In summary, you have reading comprehension problems. You misinterpret the opinions of others. You insert provocative statements to get a response. TL;DR SwoLy-D is a stupid troll.
I was wondering why this thread had grown to 4 pages....then I saw that you-know-who had 11 posts in it....and I put 2 and 2 together before even clicking on it... It's pretty obvious that she's being called courageous because she WENT PUBLIC with having the surgery, not just because she had the surgery itself. I mean, you would think most rational people can easily understand this concept.
So you are not going to respond to the content of my previous post? You are going to ignore the fact that your original post was a straw man to bash an opinion that did not exist so that you could draw as much attention to yourself as possible.
