Close but not really. Spent 24 of my 26 years in Houston, but spent the last 2 out of state for college. I was here for the championships though I was obviously too young to understand the game. Still a big Houston fan whether it be Rockets, Oilers or Astros. When I got to college out there my bible study group of friends were big into NBA, so I started watching a lot. I missed all of the TMac era but remember distinctly Houston vs Portland in the playoffs. After that my father and I would attend two games a year, one on his birthday and one on mine. Then I remember going to 3 other games just because we got tickets for real cheap. I know I lurked here before July 2012, though I see that's when I joined. I am curious to know if that is pre-Lin or post-Lin, but I cannot review my older posts. I was clearly a fan pre-Lin but, from lurking, I know that you people like to measure people based on their relation to when Lin came on board. My gf and I started dating in February of this year. She is originally from Dallas, but I am converting her. Anywho, this is significant because we started attending regularly. Rockets games are the perfect date night. Hitting the town in prime time, watching the game, getting energized then enjoying a meal afterwards, like Niko Nikos! So it started off with one date, then grew to more and more games thanks to flashseats and stubhub. Now this is -our thing- and since im back home for good we are looking into season tickets. The ones we were quoted were upper bowl sideline for $1048 each. We haven't committed yet, we might just do single games. So kind of bandwagon, but kind of not. Search for your own truths in my words What you have truly experienced here is someone who listens to 97.5 all day, but got sick of golf and put it on 95.7. There I heard the song and it was such a perfect match, I was really excited to share it. I do appreciate the good spirited posts, they get my rep- for what that's worth.

1. How in the world have you not seen that beats commercial with lebron throwing it down??? 2. I think tips drop would be a great song, OR this http://youtu.be/TiGBFzfof-I Whatever it is I think it would be cool to have song by a Houston artists. With that being said instrumentals would probably be necessary in most cases.
Why all the criticism? "Band wagoner", "overplayed." Psssh...can you guys make a song like that? No matter how you dice it, it's still a great track even for our late bloomers here. Go RedNation.
It's a tie for this song, or can't hold us that's slowly beating that 100% skill or whatever song for the most overly played song for sports
