Blackberry. That's the only smart phone I have used. Company provided. I've gotten a new one every year for the last four years. The latest one is the torch. The wife has had two different iphones. I just can't seem to get the hang of iphone. I'll stick with Blackberry.
Thank you so much for all the help you've given!! I also have an HD2 and I'm about to put Android on it as well. I hope everything goes smoothly. I'm doing everything exactly as it says in the video. *fingers crossed*
WebOS is the best OS. iOS is obviously the leader in apps. Windows is the leader in nothing. HP is going to try to redefine the term 'eco-system' to actually mean devices that are truely interconnected ...not just things that look similar and can sync music.
Ive owned an iphone and two androids. Personally, i like android due to its customization, and it's features. WebOS is very interesting though.
I have an Android device and really like it. Never had a WebOS phone but my friend has one. I used to have a Centro and didn't really like it that much (not much I could do with it). WebOS looks really smooth/nice, the multi-tasking UI seems amazing, but the selection of apps seems kinda lacking. Plus with the guy who designed the UI for WebOS now working for Android, should be interesting to see future builds of Android (Honeycomb for tablets looks outstanding). Rokkit hit the nail on the head on all 3 of the poll options. Clearly he is somebody who is experienced with all. Well said dude.
I have the Nexus S with Android 2.3.2, and I love it. Very well integrated with the Google cloud. iOS was great for a couple years, but I got tired of Apple's limitations. webOS and WP7 seem very promising though. That being said, the best smart-phone I ever used was the Nokia E71, and I'm still not dismissing Nokia from pulling off a great comeback with MeeGo.
Thanks, BleedRocketsRed Rumor is that Nokia is about to partner up with MS and start producing Windows phones. What that means for Symbian/MeeGo is uncertain...
Let me know if you have any trouble. I have put the android for four different HD2. I can probably troubleshoot.
Wonder how much it'll boost Windows now that Nokia and their Symbian are partners with Microsoft. Certainly puts Microsoft in the race with Apple and Google.
Microsoft certainly stands to benefit but not everyone is sure this puts them in the "race". We'll see. IMO, there is a decent chance this works out OK. Two turkeys may not make an eagle, but whatever they become should be able to fly.
I just put in on last night and I love it!!! It's so much smoother and faster. It took me a while to get it figured out, but xda forums helped me out a lot.
Have you updated to Android 2.2 via KIES? also, turn off your GPS. and go to your running services and disable DRM . That mediahub sucks. I have a Samsung Epic
also, if you use stuff like Handcent SMS, that drains battery. List your most popular used apps and I'll be able to help ya out a bit. You tried juicedefender?
Did you do the upgrade to 2.2? It greatly improved my battery life. Also my input on the subject. I've had various blackberry's, 2 android phones, 1 windows phone, and have played heavily with iPhones. The rate of pace that android makes improvements is far superior then all the rest and unless that changes I'm going to be an Android user for a long time.
