Android issue: Insufficient storage

    I'm assuming he's already tried that, therefore its the app itself. He's using the stock e-mail client that cannot be updated through the market or removed from the phone without root.

    Tried that, didn't work.

    I decided to factory reset, and it removed all my SD card apps, despite not having the Clear SD Card box checked. But I got my internal space back.

    Glad it worked out, next time you get an OTA. Try to ignore it, most of the time manufacturers release an "update.zip" package that you can manually install to your phone without root as it is signed by the OEM.
