If both of these players manage to stay healthy, and the Rockets had the opportunity to sign either player, which one would you pick?

Such a sharp contrast in personality between Omer Asik and Bynum/Howard. We'd go from quiet, humble, team-oriented guy to selfish, spoiled diva.

What do you mean stay healthy? They aren't healthy, and haven't been all season. I don't think they ever will be healthy.

Howard would be pretty close to the ideal fit for this team if healthy.

But Bynum would do wonders with his post ability if healthy. I'd prefer Bynum because I like his personality/game more, but he's not quite the 2-way player Dwight is.

    Granted neither are healthy, so...

If Yao can manage to stay healthy I'd take him!

    Howard

But also from a borderline all-star caliber player to a legitimate superstar, at least in Howard's case.

Obviously, Bynum is just a terrible idea.

I for one will be glad when these two are maxed out somewhere other than Houston and they take these threads with them.

Haha, you think people won't still make threads about trading for them?

How about neither? I would rather Rockets spend money on a good power forward.

Either one is too risky to give a max contract to...Some other team can take on the damaged goods.

Why is there no option for neither. Don't need the drama or the whack ass hair job.

Easily howard. It's not even a contest. Bynum is not mentally stable and while Howard has his own personality issues in question, the injuries seal the deal. One has a leg injury that is likely to never fully heal and the other doesn't have any kind of major leg injury and keeps himself in phenomenal shape.
