Andrew Bynum - not interested in Magic, could be interested in Houston in 2013?

Trade for Howard, and then convince Howard to stay by signing Bynum. New twin towers for the Rockets! (I realize I'm dreaming).

Exactly what I just tweeted. So he wants to go to teams that can pay him the max? While not shocking, it's refreshing to hear a guy not DEMAND that he goes to NY or Miami, etc, ONLY.

We're actually okay with a guy saying he will go where the money is the best. My, how quickly things change in sports...

    Ok hang on now.

This three-way talk assumes LA would be willing to swap Bynum for Howard.

Ok, most people seem to think LA would do that.

    Why would LA do that?

Do they believe Howard is better than Bynum?

If so, then why would WE want Bynum over Howard?

I hope Morey doesn't let something like this change his course of action.

    Howard remains the #1 target.

We can deal with the Bynum situation after that. It changes nothing.

I know what you mean. I for one wouldn't even be interested in a Shaq clone unless he had a better post game.... wait, wtf?

LOLOL. You mean 3 rebounds per game and less than 1 block per game Brook Lopez? Same production my ass.

    1) Because Dwight Howard is a better Center than Andrew Bynum.

    2) Indeed.

    3) Because Dwight wants no part of Houston. Apparently, Bynum does.

We don't want Bynum over Howard. But if that's what we can get, we'll take it.

Because we won't have to deal with the Dwightmare and would get the 2nd best center in the nba that wants to get an extension here.

Why in the hell should we help the fakers by facilitating a Howard trade. If Bynum likes Houston great. Trade for Howard this season then sign and trade him next season for quality pieces and picks if he does not want to stay to surround Bynum with.

I don't think those two could play together but if they could holy $#it, every star would want to play in Houston then.

How's about we dont trade for him, and then get him for nothing when he's Ann unrestricted next July? We will have the space. Sounds better to me than facilitating Dwight to LA. And honestly I wouldn't want to pay him more than the max for a free agent from another team. Only if it comes to it might the Rox have to sign and trade for him so we can give him the hometown pay raise.

If Bynum wants max money the Lakers will HAVE to trade him. they could lose him for nothing or get back scraps in SnT from either us or Cleveland for him.

I bet the Howard to LA machine will be churning. Orlando loves our assets more than NJ's so I'm sure they want LA to call us

Perfect foundation piece also because of chronic injury history?

All it takes is one action to reveal a man's true character.
And I do not want a man who would do THIS on MY team.

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pLxGm3El1cI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

And here's his "apology." About 55 seconds in, he starts LAUGHING.

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/94qERbSV6qo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I don't care if he starts putting up Kareem-level numbers--the game of basketball deserves better human beings than this. I have seen nothing to indicate that he's become a better person since this attempted rib-breaking.

(To Kobe's credit, you can at least see Kobe facepalming after the elbow, as if going "oh, you idiot...")
