Why is everyone so happy about this? Thats one less big that we could have added to our team next summer. Now Morey is gonna have to give Cousins a Jeremy Lin type deal only this time Sacramento will match and we'll be stuck with a guy thats offensively disabled starting at the five :(

I would not call a guy who is averaging doubles disabled. Asik is much better then advertised and his offensive game has plenty of room for some growth.

We need a true point guard as it turns out. I mean one who scores points !

No matter how you think about Bynum as a person, he is a rare talent and one of the few remaining NBA centers with a true post game. It would be sad if this injury derails his career.

So if you're a team looking for a usually-injured FA center with potential, you can now choose between Bynum and Oden.

Point Gurds: Kenny Smith, Sam Cassel, Moochie Norris, Rod Strickland, Bob Sura, Steve Francis, Tyron Lue, Rafer Alston, Aaron Brooks, Kyle Lowry.

    Centers: Hakeem Olajuwon, Yao Ming

We don't need a superstar point guard. We need a big time center!!!

LMFAO Not only do the Lakers get Howard (and Nash as a side note) for Bynum, but the get out of the max deal he was going to sign with LA... amazing.

The money isn't in 10 games today, it's in the nationally televised game.

I wouldn't sign Bynum if I could. Unless he was really cheap. Those knees are shot. Had enough of a star center sitting on the bench eating up cap space.

It's cuz Philly doesn't know math, as evidenced when they wrote that stupid ass article mocking $ball.

Philly: What are the chances Bynum will get injured once we trade for him?
    Lakers: 90%.
Philly: Numbers?! WTF is wrong with you $ball what? Deal!

What a miserable world we live in where DeAndre Jordan is the second-best center in the NBA.

An interesting theory but you are probably from the old school like me. We loved the 80s and 90s for how violent the sport was and how teams and players hated one another. These modern players and sports fans seem like to like mega teams just look at the ratings of the NBA. They are at an all time high, so in the end we will be the only ones on that island.

Also I don't hate Lebron for his decision, and it looks like for him personally it is paying off although for fans like me and you it might rub us the wrong way.

Lakers got the best center in the world by dumping its own damaged good. Is it the most lop-sided trade in NBA history?
