Too funny man. But as much as Morey wants the guy, Bogut is not really the best fit for these Rockets. Dallas stole our best fit. Larry Sanders or Alexis Ajinca are my next favorites.

Unless Capela puts it in another gear. Guy has to play with some fire, especially on boards and protecting the rim. Get mad Clint!!

Sanders is in much better shape than I thought, after a long vacation. However, it will take a long time for him to get in proper conditioning.

Good thing he does not need to start right away. Again, is Bogut even healthy yet?

Honestly don't think Bogut comes here. Already turned this team down once...why would he come this time?

Morey always gets his man... Even if it's late.

Sanders at his best is not better than bogut was 2 years ago.

Bogut is still a good player and would be brought in to play 15 min that's it. He would be for those times when it seems we can't get a rebound or teams are just beating us up inside.

Other than that he would sit on the bench and watch Clint and nene which is all bogut prob wants to do at this stage o his career.

Getting him would be a luxury for this team and would pay off big time.

    I personally think he's coming.

3.5m for 24 games plus the playoffs is a lot better than the 600-700k the Cavs or Spurs can offer.

That's a lot of money to turn down, I know we're a pessimistic fan base but bogut choosing us for basketball reasons is not crazy. We're similar in talent and wins to the Cavs and Spurs and we're widely seen as a team with them in that group behind golden state.

Plus we can offer almost 3m more

    That's a lot of $$$

Bogut is perfect for what we need desperately. Intelligence, toughness and elite Center play for 15-20 minutes a night.

Would rather get Sanders for a lower amount and try to also get a wing than have to blow open the budget for this guy who has been injured all year and directly chose against us.

How could Bogut deny playing with the MVP and going to the finals 3 consecutive years in a row?

    Bogut will be ours.

Believe me, I feel beyond conflicted about that guy coming here. We have a good vibe, good chemistry, and that guy is an ass face. But those illegal screens he sets are gorgeous. Harden being as open as Curry? Jesus, LeBron and Steph might **** there pants for weeks.

I don't doubt it, Cleveland is likely his first choice leaving the Rockets without many options since Morey didn't address the front court before the deadline.

His controversial political views align much more with Trump-voter Cavs owner, Cavs also have easier path to finals bc Celtics GM is a habitual pump faker

Maybe he tried to fix it but people wanted too much for the players we needed. Seemed like a pretty uneventful trade dealine compared to the last few years. Probably slim pickings all the way around.

I don't think he wanted to give up any true core players and mess with chemistry at this point.
