We had a similar episode with Dwight. We once attempted to trade for him, but he made it clear he had no intention of resigning. Fast forward a year later after we landed Harden and the Lakers were in turmoil and suddenly he's actually choosing the Rockets in free agency. Same situation with Bogut. He picks the Mavs over the Rockets. The Mavs wind up a trainwreck. The Rockets are one of the biggest surprises in the league and Harden's a favorite for MVP. Again, he may simply not wanna play here, but if his initial refusal was due to preseason expectations, that should no longer be an issue.
he wasn't a factor during the first 2 games he played anyway. he's not as important against teams that play more small ball because they expose him more often then not
i feel his illegal screens that weren't getting called in GS would get called here... as much as he would sure up our 2 most glaring issues (rebounding and paint protection) i think we would lose a lot of possessions just by his off ball screens or PnR screens with harden
So Mr. Glass II cost the Warriors a title? Man, now I'm conflicted. I hate Bogut, but I like anyone who keeps those a-holes away from the Larry O'Brien hardware.
Sanders is the alternative. Better shot blocker, better rim protector, less fat, runs the floor better.
I think it's a no brainer. It's not like we are giving away our assets but the problem is that it's not Houston choice. Cleveland has an easier road to the finals but in Houston he will get more money not only now but as our free agent and more playing time too. Let's wait and see.
not so sure about that for someone who hasn't played in what 2 years and even before that wasn't that impressive
Did you forget he is a headcase, hates basketball, hasn't played in over a year, not is basketball shape?
