Bogut going to go back to warrios if he has the chance to. Tho, he'd put our bench over the top if it isnt already.
That's even worse. 11 free throw attempts in 582 minutes played this year. How is that even possible for a C?
He doesn't draw a lot of fouls and hasn't in several years. He's been at like 1 FTA per 36 minutes for a few years now.
Either way for the right price at the very least he adds depth. Anderson/Bogut/Capela/Harrell/nene is a great big man lineup. If that happens only thing we're missing is another lengthy SF. Dekker seems to be doing well though for us.
I feel like we end up with no one we wanted from the buyouts. Everything is a little too positive right now. Have to bring myself down to normal clutchfans pessimism levels.
Great find...i thought bogut would go back for sure after seeing he is eligible to sign back with the warriors. I think hes a must if we want to get through Pau/LA combo or Blake/DJ combo...Please sign Bogut!!
Watching Javale McGee give DeAndre Jordan fits here in the 3rd. He was a huge find for them after they sold their front court for Durant. Even a knucklehead like him can flourish on that team. Out of shape Sanders or broken down Bogut- we're gonna need a stout rebounder.
Haha if somebody told me during the Dwight Sweepstakes that Bogut would be the ultimate prize after Dwight, some would have laughed.
But on the downside signing Bogut could have negative effect on our chemistry. Harrell would be buried even deeper on the bench. Capela and Nene's minutes are going to be reduced. One way or another some guys wouldn't be happy about their playing time.
Bogut is the type of player you hate on the opposite team but you just love to have on your team. After Bev, this team is too nice. We need an edge.
Yeah but Bogut's washed up. An "edge" is someone who plays rough and gets fouls, Bogut gives cheap shots on D but he doesn't try to bully guys into the paint, he's old, washed up and I guess hates contact becuase he's getting like 0.5 ft per game. Putting him here would just mess up chemistry because the dude probably can't sprint anymore and I don't see him rolling to the hoop either. If we're gonna sign a guy for the rest of the year just get Sanders. Dude was way better than Bogut on D and rebounding before he retired and he's athletic enough to keep up on fast breaks and finish in the paint. With Nene, Harrell and Capela we already set at C, you have nothing to lose everything to gain so just take a no risk high reward player. Bogut is too old to keep up with Mcgee anyway.
