You'd be incorrect. Yogi Berra said, "he hits from both sides of the plate. He's amphibious." No rep for you.
Seemed like Amare's push gave Bogut too much momentum. Left hand slipped on the rim and right hand instinctively went down to blunt the fall.
[hardwood paroxysm] Yao-zers - Andrew Bogut out for the season http://www.hardwoodparoxysm.com/2010/04/04/yao-zers-andrew-bogut-out-for-the-season/
Well That sucks.... My best Wishes go to Andrew Bogut, who was starting to live up to that #1 pick status... --RB
Dam, I would have picked the Bucks to take out anyone in the East except for Cleveland and Orlando...now...maybe push the Hawks or Celtics to 6 games.
Would it have been better to not try and soften the fall by bracing his arms? He's had back problems, but that was almost as ugly as Livingston's break.
Amare is a dirty thug. I just watched the injury clip on youtube and while Andrew is in the air at full speed and thugameye gives him a forarm to back that gave him the extra momentum that flipped him. Cant believe he did not get a fine for that.
that fall was so nasty i tried to look away before it happened but i seen it.. it made every muscle in my face and body cringe thats the worst Ive seen, a dislocated elbow has to be about the most painful, that and the Mutumbo dislocating his knee, uuugh!
foreal?! didnt notice that, im not watchin it again to double check, too gruesome amares a lazy diva, i dont want him on this team, alota ppl are drooling for him to come but hes mcgrady PF reincarnated
I don't think it was as malicious as other big men fouls (Bynum's elbow to Wallace comes to mind). He had a forearm out and maybe had a push, but that kind of contact happens all the time in the paint. Just a horrible clash of bad coincidences of Bogut's speed, bad grip, angle, forearm push, and luck. But I only watched that clip maybe a max of 5 times.
