Wow.. that looked like the Shaun Livingston injury but for the arm... btw, anyone else think Bogut looks like Sean Bean?
Watch it again. Amare definitely pushed Bogut just as Bogut jumped. Not at all uncommon for players to do that. Man, that was an awful fall. Horrific to watch. Hope Bogut heals well.
All NBA big men except Dwight Howard are cursed the last 2 seasons. They can't seem to get healthy all season. I like the bucks as an underdog in the first round unfortunately without Bogut they are gurantee to exit in the first round. Unless Jennings miraculously learn how to shoot!
I feel sooo freakin bad for the guy, He was on his way to elite status. I wish him a good and speedy recovery.
You got to be kidding me. It looked horrible. And you have to say Milwaukee is pretty much done now. They were playing great bball and Bogut was a top 3 center in the L. SAD.
It's just a damn shame this happened. I have so much respect for Bogut, even though he torched us this year. Looked god awful, I wish him nothing but the best.
I had the dislocated elbow with a broken bone. Couldn't play any sport for 3 months. Took like 6 months before I was back to normal. Only a dislocation is better. He should be fine in a coupla weeks as long as no bone was broken.
Looks like the injury was as bad as people thought. I really liked the Bucks chances of pulling off an upset in the first round. It seemed like they had a great home crowd, and are finally looking like a decent team. This is just extremely unlucky for them.
Saw the footage, just horrible. Hopefully he recovers and there is no permanent damage, I don't like seeing anyone get hurt like that. Obviously the Bucks are done, they could have made things interesting in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
I think his hands probably wanted to grab the rim but slipped. If he did not try to grab the rim, he would not have fallen like that.
Good news is coming back 100% from upper torso injuries like his is excellent. Livingston's injury was the worst I've ever seen in an NBA game and it looks like that it wasn't career ending for him.
Are you kidding me man? Watch it again before you point the finger at Amare for doing something like that...from an angle you can actually see what happened. <object width="576" height="324" allowfullscreen="true"><param name="movie" value="http://d.yimg.com/m/up/ypp/sports/player.swf"><param name="flashVars" value="vid=18970904"><embed width="576" height="324" allowfullscreen="true" src="http://d.yimg.com/m/up/ypp/sports/player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="vid=18970904"></object> Bogut just grabbed on to the rim awkwardly and threw himself for a spin. It sucks, but Amare had nothing to do with it.
That's a really tough break for a promising young team just before the playoffs. I hope that Bogut recovers and returns to form next year. He should be an all-star soon.
