Scott Skiles could make a difference with them.

Milwaukee seriously overpaid for this mediocre Aussie... :D

should have just gone for okafor...

btw he is somewhat a bust like marvin willaims considering there was chris paul, deron williams etc

Damn if he is worth that much no wonder Bynum wanted the max chances are he wont even be a Laker. I guess you have to pay these big guys though since there is not many of them around harder to find etc....

All Bucks need is a defensive power forward and they could be pretty good with Skiles at the helm. Villanueva is not that guy, maybe they would like Chuck Hayes for Sessions :D

Yes he will...but we knew that (atleast we should have) already. Yao is a 7'5, 300 lb, 22 pt, 11 reb, center. He will get the max for a player with his experience which will probably average around 20 mil a season.

Ok - people who follow my posts are going to know that I am often hyper-critical of the Australian prospects and talents.

so when I say this, consider that i'm not just "being a homer" or sticking up for my countryman, Bogut is real McCoy NBA star quality.

The guy can pass exceptionally well, rebounds like a monster most of the time, blocks more than his share of shots, can score in a variety of ways and can finish equally well with his left or right hands.

He also has a decent jumpshot with range, not that he often needs to show it.

I applaud Andrew and definetely think, by comparison to what others are getting paid, that what he brings is worth what he got paid.

If you dont agree with my statements, then you either A) dont see Milwaukee play very often and are jumping on the hater bandwagon or B) dislike his comments about the NBA culture - which were blown out of proportion and were in fact the honest truth.

He is underrated, but hell no to him being better than Okafor.

i've got to say that we signed Yao to a reasonable low price.
man i think bogut deserves 8-9 mil per year, but 14 mil? Its good to be a seven footer..

Well, at least the Bucks didn't overpay Bogut like the Magic did Rashard Lewis (who actually played like a man possessed last season, saving the owners from serious public backlash).

I think Yao's last year on this current contract is 17mil. So Yao makes about 15 something million a year on average of his contract while Bogut makes 14 something.

you might be able to form a case for Okafor being better defensively - but rebounding wise i'd say Andrew has the edge and offensively he is waaaay more effective than Emeka.

how's bogut's contract compare to brand's? imo both are over valued. but maybe that was the market for the moment.

Brand is at a whole another level when comparing to Bogut and he got only a few million more.

Aussie, count me in the 'A' column but still, whenever I do see him, he doesn't strike me as anything more than 'solid'. No way in hell would I ever pay him more than 10 million a year. His stats don't warrant that money and the team's success doesn't warrant it even moreso. IMO, Bucks overpaid. But that seems to be a tradition there. They overpay just about everyone.
