Warriors gave Bogut the choice between Mavs and Rockets.. http://espn.go.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0545053138873225649-4 "The Warriors gave Andrew Bogut the option of choosing between Dallas and Houston as his trade destination, according to league sources. The Rockets were willing to make the same deal that the Mavs made to get the big man from Golden State. Philadelphia also showed heavy interest, but the Warriors felt they owed it to Bogut to send him to a team with realistic playoff hopes."
Makes sense.....bogut wouldn't have liked it in Houston. The rockets lack a certain level of dirty-cheapness necessary to attract big name players like bogut.
Dallas with a realistic playoffs hopes lol that's the funniest thing iv read all day. When the rockets are getting home court advantage 1st round bogut and his Mavs can be looking at a first round sweep from his former team or maybe even an early vacation with a lottery pick. Lol Clutch should lock this up bogut is wack as they come middle fingers at that bum.
We do not know why he chose Dallas over Houston. Could it be guaranteed playing time? (He'd have to compete with Capela in Houston) He hates Harden? He doesn't want to play for No D'Antoni? Could be a bunch of reasons, really.
I said the Rox shoulda been all over that deal... and evidently they were... it was a steal on a 1yr expiring contract...
I'm in Dallas so I hear this guy and other local ESPN guys talking on the radio. This last week they've been talking about why they can't ever seem land a FA. This smacks of consoling a wounded Dallas fan base that's getting the vibe they're the odd kid in the middle school lunch cafeteria.
Lol who cares. Barring injuries we'll be the better team and it won't be all that close. *Kanye shrug*
Meh, we r better off. Harden wouldn't have got his extension either. And he can't pull off those marvelous illegal screens/holds that he got away with in GSW.

In Dallas you have...Powell? Mejiri? In Houston you have Capela, DMo, & Nene (maybe you opt to not sign Nene?). Plus a coach that prefers to run and play small. Seems like he went with the more consistent minutes. Smart move as he's going to be a FA next year.
