Didn't you just destroy your own argument? If Carr is 2-14 and Schaub is 8-8/9-7, would that mean he's the best player on the team? Not Andre?

Further proof(not that there needs to be any) that QB >>>> WR.

Johnson “not pressing” for a new contract
    By Nick Scurfield - May 24 2010, 2:28 PM

After the Texans’ fifth practice of organized team activities (OTA) on Monday, wide receiver Andre Johnson reiterated his comments from last Thursday that he’s moving on from discussions about his contract.

“When the time comes for it, it’ll come,” said Johnson, who sat out the first three days of OTAs in an apparent contract dispute. “I’m not pressing anything or anything like that. Hopefully, it’ll all work out.”

Johnson hired Houston-based agent Kennard McGuire on Friday, prompting speculation that he might be ready to play hardball with the Texans. But the four-time Pro Bowler, who has five years left on an eight-year extension signed in 2007, said he does not have a timetable set for working out a new deal with the team.

“Like I said, I’m not really worried about it,” he said. “I’m out here just trying to work and doing what I need to do to help win a Super Bowl around here. That’s what I’m going to continue to do, and like I said before, if that happens, it’ll happen and it will take care of itself.”

Before hiring McGuire, Johnson previously had been advised by his uncle, Andre Melton. Johnson said that Melton still “knows everything that goes on” and will be closely involved in any contract discussions as an advisor.

McGuire also represents Texans wide receiver André Davis and NFL stars including Vince Wilfork of the New England Patriots, Shaun Rogers of the Cleveland Browns, Brandon Marshall of the Miami Dolphins and T.J. Houshmandzadeh of the Seattle Seahawks.

“We just felt comfortable with him,” Johnson said of McGuire. “He’s been recruiting me since I’ve been in college. He’s right here in the city of Houston. I’ve seen him a lot. When we’re out here practicing, he’s out here watching practice and things like that. That’s the guy we just felt comfortable with.”

Im glad he changed agents, his uncle, just want to stir the pot, maybe he is titan fan, and he want to get him out of Houston.

So if Andre pulled an ACL in 2008 and loses all his speed, does this article change into "Texans' Mistake" and Kubiak/Smith should be fired for giving Andre an extension they didn't have to?
