Since when did looks determine what kind of QB you were?

Well what about Vick or Favre.. I'd say they have just as good as looks as Carr and well...i could be wrong but Favre is HOF bound and Vick is perhaps the most athletic QB in the leauge. There are arguments to make that Carr may not be a Peyton Manning or Brett Farve or Culpepper, Mcnabb, etc...but his looks are not one of 'em.

robinson's stats are alittle inflated, u got to remember, he's a rookie opposite to aaron glenn..... so they gonna pick on him more often the glenn.....so the comparison isn't warranted..... those other 2 guys....no one throws to them....b/c they are that good... =) just my opinion....robinson had a good season, but not a probowler one... =) definately an all rookie team

To Da--Carr will come along. Progressing fine, next year should be another stride.

Now in regards to this quote. What in the !#$? Pretty boys usually make average QB's. Because THAT's an indicator of their skills. If you look good, no point in trying to play QB in teh NFL because most likely you'll only be average. Because you look good.

    Genius.

Tempted to start another thread centered around Vick getting selected for NFC QB. Seriously, I'm guessing he easily has the worst passing stats of any QB EVER selected to the Pro Bowl. I'm turning into a hater...and I don't like that...but the media's fascination with this guy just blows me away.

    Vick's stats:

    Yards - 2278; 55.7%; 13 TD 12 INT Rating: 76.6

    Marc Bulger:

    Yards - 3289; 64.9%; 17 TD 12 INT Rating 90.5

    Bret Favre:

    Yards - 3527; 63.4%; 25 TD 16 INT Rating 88.7

    Jake Delhomme:

    Yards - 3365; 58.2%; 23 TD 15 INT Rating 84.2

Yeah...I know...Vick ran for 800 yards, too. But he still doesn't equal the total yards of any of the QB's on this list. And, oh...he also turns the ball over more than any player in the league.

bring it, pgabriel!!!! :D this is my new, most fun argument...because it's not remotely personal. I really like Mike Vick as a person. And I think the media hype around him is ridiculously unfair to him, frankly. But it's hype that made this Pro Bowl team...not substance.

I agree about Vick. The media is in love with him. Their defense has won most of their games for them. Vick's passing has been terrible this year, but the media ignores that since he can run.

    Look at the Falcons record...

now take Michael Vick away and subtract 7 wins accordingly.

And put Brett Favre on the team and give them back the 7 wins.

If you take away any teams best player, they are not going to do well

Brett Favre in a Jim Mora's constipated version of the WCO.

    yeah.

Michael Vick is a better QB than Marc Bugler and Jake Delhomme. Stats are bull****, especially TD-INT ratios. Kerry Collins is having a pretty great year if you want to compare his stats to Vick's.

    KOOLPUDYDAWG ROOLZ.

    I'm proud of Dre'.

As for Dunta, he'll make it next year. These are popularity votes. Vick be in for the next 10 years easy.

wow vick and nomar r00lz!!! WHAT AN ARGUEMENT!!!
Mike Vick is as overrated as they come...and if Brett Favre was on the Falcons, Mora Jr wouldnt run a WCO.

koolpudydawg...how long was that, 6 months ago? and you continue to hold onto it because its the *only* thing you can say in an attempt to insult me.

    Nice try guys

    Michael Vick...bye week

Brett Favre, with more weapons, fighting for division today.

koolpudydawg, definitely not 6 months ago, I was in Syracuse at that time.

    Oh yeah, and "business trip".

Your argument is... mind-blowingly dumb. I'm still trying to figure out why you posted those stats.

I pointed them out to show that Brett Favre is not the reason the Packers have a worse record than the Falcons, its the defenses of the two teams.

And I know exactly what my password was, but is not anymore, so someone must have changed it.

oh well even if Michael Vick isn't a good QB at least i don't make up usernames to try and cheat my way to winning at a baseball simulation.

read the title... 9/30 is not 6 months. Do you have a grasp of football like a grasp of time?
