Andre Iguodala

The idea is to pair Iguodala with an efficient scorer like Martin who moves of the ball the best in the league.

 

We still have Brooks and Budinger to fill in that role.

 

You guys have got to be kidding! Now you are talking about trading Martin for Iguodala? Guys seriously, it wouldn't take that much to get Iguodala. A couple of expirings and a 2nd year player(Hill) + the NY swap pick(which currently still has value) should be enough.

 

The whole point would be to pair Iggy with Martin....

 

Even trading Brooks is too much.

Wait till Dec. 15 and trade Lowry then.

He should accept the trade as he will play for his hometown.

 

Why would Philadelphia want Kevin Martin? I know, I know, 3-team trades, but still...I think it would be a lateral move.

I don't think trading for Iguodala makes us championship contenders, but it brings us one move away from being championship contenders....

 

If Morey can net us Iguodala and Billups by giving up Brooks and Martin, I'd be fine with it.

 

You'd be giving up most of your scoring. Iguodala and Billups are not going to score 50+ pts. a night, then 40+ pts. on a bad night. Adding Iguodala would be enough and it should only take Jeffries, Battier, Hill and pick(s).

 

Billups scored 20 ppg last season as well and is an upgrade at defense.

Iguodala scored 17 ppg last season as well and is more reliable.

That's 37 points on average and could be more depending on the matchups.

And the added defense would help.

 

I'd Be happier if Brooks and Battier is moved, but Billups is too old. We need to throw every non starting asset at New Orleans for CP3 if we get Iggy for Battier,Jefferies Hill and a Pick. Maybe All our picks+Brooks+Cbud+C.Lee+Patterson for CP and like 2 overpaid scrubs

 

I'd rather keep Lowry as the starting PG. Brooks is overrated. Brooks + Battier (and a draft pick maybe) for Iggy.

C: Yao/Dampier/Miller

 

Hill/Lee/Battier/JJ for Iggy? Maybe a pick instead of Lee. Just seems like after getting Dampier, we don't have much faith in Hill. Should trade him while we may get something.

Hell no! And he's out for the season with an achilles injury.

Who is going to guard the bigger wings? please don't say Lee. Martin weighs 120lbs soaking wet and Bud is not a good defender.
