Maybe thats why this team has been so bad in close games. He does believe in high leverage moments which is the same thing to me. Either way, all points aren't created equal in my book and thats part of the problem with the kevin martin types of the world.

I would rather use our expirings and picks for a superstar, with or without Andre we are still just mediocre

    1. Melo
    2. Gerald Wallace

    3. Iggy

I would love Josh Smith but that's not happening.

Then wait till the deadline when you will have a better perspective on the pick swap we have from the knicks and trade that for Anthony Randolph, or what ever opprtunity presents itself. Otherwise keep the pick depending on the circumstance record wise and rebuild through the draft i.e Oklahoma City. Drop our expirings and hope the new CBA will work in the teams advantage on the free agent market. Trading for A.I will commit a lot of cash to another Kevin Martin type not capiable of beating L.A, Miami, S.A, Bos, Orl, N.O, DAL, Okl or any other team for a championship. Isnt a Championship the ultimate goal?

Jeffries, Taylor, & Battier = CRAP

76ers get CRAP + Knicks non lottery 1st round pick for Iggy

Sorry the Sixers are not as stupid as you to do that deal. Yes their are teams that are financially struggling and in an effort to save money will dump salary for almost nothing in return. But your suggesting is for expirings and Jermaine Taylor. Cleveland is ready to offer a whole lot more for IGGY including immediate cap relief with the Cavaliers TE.

Think before you propose stupid trades that have no chance in hell of happening.

Not to mention that the Knicks are going to throw their 2011 first round pick in the trade for some reason. Nice of Walsh to do the Rockets a solid by helping them get Melo.

Mentally challenged posters? Melo does not want to go anywhere besides New York. We rent Melo for the remainder of the season and he'll give no effort much less heart as we tank away and are forced to part ways after the season is over. Is that what you want?

Then you hold what you got.

Don't make a trade just to make one.

This is the only superstar or close to superstar we can get period. Melo is set on New York and no where else. This guy will have to do. Please try to get him.

If you didnt know, posted before in the forums but not updated
    http://www.82games.com/gamewinningshots.htm game winning shots
    http://www.82games.com/0910/CSORT11.HTM clutch stats

If you're saying that should be part of the usual stats everywhere all the time, I don't know if sports leagues would sell out players like that lol. It'd ruin star players' images, and it'd have random people like Travis Outlaw at the top of the list.

There is plenty of evidence that Brooks is the dude you want with the ball in his hands at the end of a tight game because of his ability to beat his man and force help to leave another shooter wide open for a shot, if there are no other alternatives on this team.

Brooks does have a unique skill set that if he were traded would need to be replaced by an incoming player.
