Bosh plays a soft 4, so I am not all that enthralled with Bosh playing the 5.

Yao is getting old and less effective and more fragile. Carl and Bosh are both younger and more productive so Rick would play whoever that would help the team the most.

I rather have Yao come off the bench as a back up center. That way, his minutes are lowered, he going against 2nd tier guys, and he can probably last longer in the season too by coming off the bench.

Dude, keep dreaming. Yao is not coming off the bench. I agree his minutes will be reduced and that if we get Bosh, he and Carl will play together (assuming Carl doesn't get traded) but there is no way Yao doesn't start over Carl Landry.
