We don't want Luke Walton, or Aaron Mckie. Luke Walton has always sucked, and Aaron Mckie has bad wheels. Don't need anymore of that, already enough Rockets that fit those bills.

Anderson's trade idea? Do you mean these are suggestions Derek Anderson made? Because that's what it means when you attach the 's to Anderson preceding the term 'trade idea'. You made it possessive. If it is your idea, it should be "My ideas to trade Anderson".

I think I'm going to go ahead and assume these are your ideas, because I have a sneaking suspicion that Derek Anderson would suggest that he be traded for Kevin Garnett, Lebron James or Kobe Bryant. I seriously doubt he places his value so low, even though the players you named all have better trade value than DA.

Well, you can take what JVG said about Barry and apply it to DA as well. He is not trying to hide away a secret weapon on the bench for no reason.

I think DA embodies a lot of what JVG has complained about this season. He actually seems to be opposite of the type of player he likes. He doesn't seem real tough, and seems to lack any real desire or dedication to make himself and the team better.

JVG said it himself. DA has been healthy, but where has he been at practice? Why has it taken him so long to recover from the injury? Yao was committed enough to work hard to, not only get back quicker from his surgery, but to be in shape and ready to go when he got back.

DA is a nice role player who could help a team and he is a good guy, but I think he was worn out his welcome here.

TR1B = Trade Restriction because the player signed a 1 year contract in which they will be a Bird or Early Bird player at the end of the contract

Come on Yao loves the guy and he is shooting pretty good from 3pt land.

    23% from 3-pt range??

We'd be better off blind-folding Bowen and giving him permission to shoot the ball. No thanks on taking back Bustjan! :p

wait, DA gets to pick where he goes?

am I the only one who feels we need frontcourt help, not backcourt? Or maybe even a rugged swingman who can shoot and defend?

    Per DaDakota:

Anderson to Ok/New Orleans for Boki Nachbar.

    DD

Bring Back Boki. He does have good legs, can run, and if someone would play him he can run and shoot. He does run with the break very well-though we do not do that. He creates matchup problems with his heighth @6'-9".

Detroit and Orlando supposedly have talked about a Darko and Arroyo for Cato deal (see Florida Today), as Detroit needs a backup center. So how about Mutombo, Anderson and Luther Head for Darko? The salaries would match. Or Mutombo, Anderson, Head and either Wesley or Moochie for Darko and Arroyo, also a salary match.

    Successful Scenario
Due to Houston and Denver being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Houston and Denver had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

"We obviously could use veteran leadership other than Othella (Harrington) in the worst way." -Paxson (edit: quote got changed in article but google news still shows this one)

Perhaps DA + Juwan for Nocioni + Othella

Noci will be an unrestricted FA after next season. Bulls will need to give up possibly a few max/large contracts to Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, and Sweetney (all will be restricted FA) in the future at different stages. Plus if they do go after a max FA this summer getting a player of Juwan's calibre now would make even more sense. Also their frontcourt isn't happening this year.

    Duhon
    Hinrich Gordon
    (Peja/Al) Deng
    Juwan Sweetney
    Chandler
