More like 10 feet. He just doesn't shoot unless he is completely alone.

Because he's gotten spoiled with Harden and CP3. Which i can't be mad at. Being on the rockets with harden and cp3 when they drive the defense collapses. So he gets/and will get his fair share of open 3s. but i agree the guy has to learn how to shoot with some defensive pressure.

    POWER FORWARD!
    Anderson - 9/8/1 - 40 minutes
    Tucker - 3/9/0 - 25 minutes

PF - 12 points 17 rebounds and an assist

    CENTER
    NeNe - 10/4/0 (4 rebounds? Really?) 19 minutes
    Black - 3/3/1
Center - 13 points 7 rebounds and an assists

Capela coming back helps the center position but man
Our Power Forward production is horrible.
What's worse is . . the defense there is lacking as well

Harden went full iso mode In the 3rd and 4th. Harden held the ball the moment he got doubled. Nobody got shots in the 2nd half..

There were several times when Harden did pass the ball to Anderson who then just passed it right back to Harden. Anderson did not want to shoot plain and simple because he had opportunities.

I don't understand why we don't feed the ball to Ryno EVERYTIME he has a guard on him. He's mentally weak but he still has enough skill to consistently hit a fadeaway against a smaller defender.

Anderson maybe passed 2 shots. He was launching in the first half. He was in the post and passing from the post for points.. not to mention he made Horford irrelevant in the post with his defense. And was actually a good rim defender.

I get it you hate him, but the hate for Anderson has become borderline pornographic.

With no passes from Harden.. come on man.. Gordon was bullying his way the cup and also not getting calls. If you expect Anderson to do that... ok.. good luck.

I don’t hate him. Don’t know where you got that from. And yes I pointed out he played good defense on Horford in another thread.

He's a defensive liability 95% of the time and an offensive liability 70% of the time.

I was saying "you" in a general sense. Not you in particular. Referencing this thread, sorry.

Anderson does like to pass up open shots to drive in and do fade away jumpers.........only problem is when you drive in and a defender is there to stop you from taking a shot

Anderson is a failure for this squad at $20million per season. It's obvious. A valuable piece could be had for that kind of coin, but the Rox have a liability. Morey has to take the blame for this one.

    Anderson defended the post well.

That said, he was incapable of launching a 3. The only shot I saw him make was a dirk one-foot fade-away from 15 ft.

If Anderson can't make shots from the outside, the only thing he's useful for is collecting rebounds. And MDA (omfg) used Anderson down low hoping to collect some offensive rebounds from EG/Harden 3s. Anderson stood as he watched airballs going out of bounds.

And maybe that's the kinda shot Anderson would've shot anyway.

Now of course we played a great defensive team. But there were no holes that we could exploit. I blame a lot of it on Anderson. He just is not a weapon for us in the past 4 or so games.

I blame everything on MDA. He isn't setting up the team to succeed. I get it. We got nobody else. But Anderson just played 40 minutes............
