Maybe Sessions has a home in Houston & is just working out at Toyota Center, I remeber a while back someone posted that Marcus Camby has a house in Pearland, so maybe he's just working out here. Who knows whats going on.
GeryWoelfel: While Clippers are in striking distance on deal 4 R. Sessions, Knicks aren't giving up. Still looking to trade player 2 free up more cash. http://twitter.com/gerywoelfel
Even if he does, these sorts of mysterious predictions rarely pan out. See: previous 10 Doc Rocket preds.
Boy......Clippers? I just can't see that one. Can't see Ramon wanting to go there. And where does it leave BDiddy? Knicks??? Obviously. Mike wants him as his young Steve Nash. Possibly David Lee in a S&T?
Sessions Is a pretty nice player for a bad team. Not sure why everyone is so ready to get rid of one of our points or landry for him. Dude shoots .176 from three and IMO that won't fly in this offense. Yes Lowry didn't shoot it much better but he is more of a pure point and is much cheaper. I could see maybe being the third team in the deal and aquiring something else, or sending two for one to get to 15 on the roster. Sessions I believe will be commanding more than the Rockets would be willing to pay
What offense are you speaking of? Yao is down and out. We can't keep making every personnel decision based on him. A few years ago, sure, but not at this point. What is your basis for saying that Lowry is more of a pure point than Sessions?
Hasn't seen Sessions play much apparently. Sessions is a superior playmaker/passer to Lowry, not to mention he draws even more fouls than Lowry does, not to mention he is a better shooter. He was 6 for 34 last year on 3 point shots. How many of those shots do you think were bailout shots after busted plays, shots at the end of the quarter from half-court, etc? He takes less than 1/2 a 3 point shot per game? Why? Because he able to penetrate, dish, and finish the way an upper echelon point guard should. Compare his first two years 40 minute stats to Chris Paul's first two years and he compares very favorably to the best point guard in the league right now. He's got the whole game. He is a game controller. He can score, he can finish, he can shoot the midrange J, and he can dish like nobody's business. Milwaukee just discovered him basically last year. They really should keep him as their floor general instead of Jennings but he apparently wants out........smart. If we could get him for Landry and junk, it's a no-brainer.
Getting Sessions here would be fantastic. Brooks/Sessions would be a very strong backcourt for a long time going forward. (I still think it is Lowry though.)
if yall want to discuss Sessions, take it here http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=172056 all this trade talk about him is off-topic for this thread
