If we turned AH into any combination of Bayless, Outlaw or Thomas this deadline would be an unbelievable success.

Morey would of turned one expiring contract into 5+ assets, while only taking back Jeffries for one year. Thats just plain disgusting.

I wonder if Harrington could get us Rudy. Something like this with a pick possibly going to Portland...

If we could get Rudy and Bayless for Harrington, that would be amazing. Don't know how the salaries would work, but I'm sure we'd jump all over that were it offered. Maybe toss in Andersen somehow and a New York pick. Who cares about the details? ;)

You certainly wouldn't get both, but you MIGHT be able to get one of them. I'm guessing that the Blazers would be more willing to give up Bayless than Fernandez. Still, I doubt that Portland would give up either one, even for Tyrus Thomas, not when they could get Camby right now for Blake/Outlaw/cash, as long as the Blazers take back Sebastian Telfair.

That was the Blazers offer not the Clips, right? I can't see them taking that.

Oh, you're right, of course. I'd be happy to do the Andersen/Bayless deal. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if we did another couple of smaller deals after we complete McGrady's demise.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Blazers offered Blake/Outlaw/cash for Camby. The Clippers responded with a proposal involving Portland taking back Telfair (who is under contract/has an option for next year), but PORTLAND is hesitant to make that deal.

Here's hoping they'll take the younger Tyrus Thomas if the Rockets can work a three-way deal to net Houston Outlaw and Bayless. Fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath.

This has been a bad trade "season" for our Rockets. I still think something spectacular is going to come out of left field. Something we haven't heard yet....

On one hand, this makes the Blazers better, so it suck. On the other hand Camby, reports say Camby is pissed and hopefully, he might not want to reup with either the Blazers or Clippers in the offseason.

Probably the best FA we could get all things considered.

Naw, it probably end like a Isley Brothers and R. Kelly video.

    That's just stupid.

I remember starting a thread to re-unite Bayless with Budinger and everyone laughed it off stating that Bayless is a bust and that we don't need him.

Even though this is an Andersen for Bayless "dream trade" its not such a bad idea now, is it???

That would never ever happen though, plus they have Camby coming in now.

Yea I think Camby, with a fair contract, would be amazing for this team. And realistic.

With Camby going to Portland in the latest round of swaps, it is looking more and more like the Rockets have been caught sitting on the pot -- again.

I just wanted to say that I don't see how this has anything to do with the Rockets sitting on the pot. If anything be angry that the Clippers are such morons for doing this deal. I mean, obviously Portland is shopping for a center, I really don't think the Rockets were the ones holding up an Anderson for Bayless deal, then all of a sudden Portland realizes they can get Camby for Blake and Outlaw, of course they grab it and move on.

well philly wanted lowry and t-mac for iggy and dalembert so I'd do this since we certainly would have a back up pg in bayless.
