moes is 24. I'm 24. Kam is 25. TheCat I believe is 24. We're barely older than you are, yet it's been common knowledge for all of us for probably a good 8-10 years, or around when we started watching football and picking up on pop culture
Replace every instance of "Super Bowl Shuffle" with the phrase "2 Girls 1 Cup" and this thread becomes more intriguing. By the way the beauty of the "I'll be the guy alive in 2050." line can't be missed. You seem fairly confident you'll be alive then. Some would say...arrogant(?)
The Patriots released their own song that year as well. It was based off "Leader of the Pack" and called, obviously, "Leader of the Pats" if I recall correctly. Obviously, it's not so well remembered.
" . . would have figured something would have gotten him eventually. . . a plastic bag or low flying plane or something" - George Carlin [or something like that] Rocket River
It ain't bragging if you can back it up! To tell you the truth If I had my choice of living the life I lead in the 1970's or getting to live to an uncertain life in 2050, I would keep the 70's. I'll only be 97 then anyway. Wipe my drool clone! (Granted the Super Bowl Shuffle was the 80's but I was already being assimilated by then. It was the last gasp of 'fun' before the NFL became the 'No Fun League')
so angry 2050...I'm sure the planet will be in great shape by that point. enjoy (I'll only be 77 but probably senile)
I've seen the video at least a dozen times and the video is older than me. I've never watched it online. I've seen it on the ESPN family of networks more than anything.
Super Bowl shuffle you say..... Hey have you heard about this cartoon where robots tranform into everyday stuff like cars and radios.....
a lot of teams did music videos. The Raiders (Its a good thing Howie Long never went into music and Matt Millen can't play guitar or rap any better than he can manage.) <object width="504" height="440"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allownetworking" value="all" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="flashvars" value="stretching=exactfit&autostart=false&backcolor=222222&frontcolor=FFFFFF&lightcolor=C4C8CB&enablejs=true&volume=100&logo=http://www.fandome.com/img/watermark.png&image=http://s3.amazonaws.com/lazyimg/75420.jpg&link=http://raiders.fandome.com/video/75420/1986-Oakland-Raiders-Music-Video/&linktarget=_blank&linkfromdisplay=true&plugins=yourlytics-1,quickkeys-1,googlytics-1,viral-1&yourlytics.callback=http://www.fandome.com/ajax/updateViews.php?vid=75420&viral.onpause=false&file=http://s3.amazonaws.com/lazyjock/75420.flv" /><param name="src" value="http://www.fandome.com/flashplayer/sportsbox.swf" /><embed src="http://www.fandome.com/flashplayer/sportsbox.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" id="videoId" name="videoId" allowscriptaccess="always" allownetworking="all" quality="high" allowfullscreen="true" wmode ="transparent" width="504" height="440" flashvars="stretching=exactfit&autostart=false&backcolor=222222&frontcolor=FFFFFF&lightcolor=C4C8CB&enablejs=true&volume=100&logo=http://www.fandome.com/img/watermark.png&image=http://s3.amazonaws.com/lazyimg/75420.jpg&link=http://raiders.fandome.com/video/75420/1986-Oakland-Raiders-Music-Video/&linktarget=_blank&linkfromdisplay=true&plugins=yourlytics-1,quickkeys-1,googlytics-1,viral-1&yourlytics.callback=http://www.fandome.com/ajax/updateViews.php?vid=75420&viral.onpause=false&file=http://s3.amazonaws.com/lazyjock/75420.flv"></embed></object><div><a href="http://www.fandome.com" title="Sports Videos, News, Blogs"><img src="http://www.fandome.com/img/poweredBy.png" style="border:none;" alt="Sports Videos, News, Blogs" /></a></div> SNL even had a music video for the kickers.
