    Here's the F-ing problem:

    1.

Tracy McGrady is currently playing injured. The reason he is settling for jumpshots is because physically he well below 100 percent. He is more hurt than he is letting on and it might be wise for the Rockets to rest him now and save him for the playoffs.

I am sick and tired of hearing ignorant-ass fans complaining about T-Mac this and T-Mac that. STFU already.

Here's what I have to say:

    1. Tracy McGrady is playing hurt and there is no doubt about it. He moves at the speed of a rock (for the most part stationary) and he gets about as high as Yao Ming on a good day. However, you have to appreciate the guy for going out there and "earning his money". He knows ignorant-ass fans and the media are going to pan him for being "made of glass", but he is willing to put his reputation and future career on the line to prove that at the very least he will try to help the team win.

    2. The same ignorant-ass fans that b**** about Tracy McGrady taking jumpshots and not driving enough are the same ignorant-ass fans that would pan him for having "no heart" and being a "lazy-ass" if he were to go on the injured reserve. Make up your f--king minds already. The guy is playing hurt and at the very least he IS contributing to the team. These same sorry ass fans are also probably the same ones that believe STEVE FRANCIS is the savior to the Rockets problems. Get a f--king clue already its 2008, NOT 1998.

    1. Kevin Garnett Boston
    $24,750,000
    2. Stephon Marbury New York
    $21,937,500
    -. Allen Iverson Detroit
    $21,937,500

    5. Jermaine O'Neal Toronto
    $21,352,500
    6. Kobe Bryant LA Lakers
    $21,262,500
    7. Tracy McGrady Houston
    $21,126,874
    8. Tim Duncan San Antonio
    $20,598,703
    9. Shaquille O'Neal Phoenix
    $20,000,000

    $19,814,480
    11. Dirk Nowitzki Dallas
    $18,077,904
    -. Paul Pierce Boston
    $18,077,904
    -. Shawn Marion Phoenix
    $17,180,000

    19. Andrei Kirilenko Utah
    $15,080,312
    -. Pau Gasol LA Lakers

    21. Yao Ming Houston
    $15,070,550
    -. Amare Stoudemire Phoenix
    $15,070,550
    23. Zach Randolph LA Clippers
    $14,666,666
    24. Lamar Odom LA Lakers
    $14,559,000
    25. Ben Wallace Cleveland

    $14,500,000
    -. Gilbert Arenas Washington

    $14,500,000
    27. Chris Bosh Toronto
    $14,410,581
    -. Dwyane Wade Miami
    $14,410,581
    -. Carmelo Anthony Denver
    $14,410,581
    -. LeBron James Cleveland
    $14,410,581

Tracy McGrady makes 21 mill, but at the very least he plays. Steve Francis makes 20 mill, but his ass is warming benches along with Marbury (24 mill).

I think I'll take the something over nothing.

Agent, it all depends on someones definition of solid play. I have given T-Mac more props than most fans on this board. I have just gotten tired of the excuses and the sometimes apathetic effort he's displayed. In T-Macs case, if he does what he always has done, he will get what he always has gotten. At 29yrs of age he has got to learn that excuses will not get him anywhere but watching other players and teams advance in front of him in the playoffs.

The Rockets aren't paying Steve Francis that much money. That's all from Isiah Thomas and the Knicks

    2007-08 Total NBA $2,430,000

We obviously aren't taking a huge hit on salary for Steve Francis.
    But I get your point.

You want to know why Steve Francis has that contract in the first place? We gave it to him. We were lucky to find takers for his sorry ass.

But along the same vien, I've gotten tired of the people that after 1-2 bad games create threads like "OMG GIAZ WE GOTA TRAID TMAK!!!".

If it makes you happy to hear this, fine: Tracy did OK this game even though he only had 6 pts in 31 mins. When he's not feeling up to it, he shouldn't jack up a bunch of shots. Tonight, Tracy played within his limitations. If he had gone 3-15, I would on his case. But he used good judgment and only took 7 shots.

He's taking up way too much money to be producing as little as he is.

That said he did a good job of passing the ball tonight and not being a black hole. It's possible that he can't cut hard without the ball because of his knee. Give him a couple of weeks off so that he can rest up.

Now don't you feel better? :)

Thats a legit complaint, but what can we do? I look at it this way. There are plenty of players with a Kobe-complex that think they have to win the game themselves, at least we have a guy that can average 15-20 a game hovering around 43% shooting (hopefully) that plays within the system and that can become a go-to guy late in games.

The money thing isn't really an issue as his contract ends in 2 seasons and given his play and what our team is looking like, he could easily take a home team discount and resign with us for around 10 million, or even less depending on the length of the contract.

Can you imagine where the Rockets would be without him?

Goodness what was the point of even bumping this up.

I read the original post without looking at the date and was wondering what the hell he was talking about.

    Thought it was a joke.

mmm... probably a lower seed moving into the 2nd round for a chance at beating #1. I can imagine where these boards would be too... utter, utter catastrophe with actual basketball discussions floating in a sea of McGrady fights. People here are like a bunch of little girls sometimes (and I'm not talking about you.)

So did I. I thought maybe McGrady had released a statement regarding the Rockets' series win. My mind had come up with all kinds of outlandish quotes from McGrady.

"The Rockets would have won in 4 if I was there."
"Ron Artest asked me for tips on how to guard Roy."
"I told Rick I was ready to go if the team needed me to impose my will on the series."

But the thread wasn't what I thought it was.
