Lmao... We expect that every year. If he doesn't come to play, he can remain a second round virgin.. Just like when he gave up last season in the 4th quarters of the playoffs. Sad performance, hope he can give a little bit of effort this time.
Who said he was chucking tonight? Not me. One thing I'll give him credit for was taking 3s that were (for the most part) in the the flow of the game. On at least 2 occasions, he was wide open after getting a pass from Yao. Too many of Tracy's 3s are on fast breaks where he should go to the rim for a guaranteed basket or FTs, which is the opposite of using his brain. Tonight, he only took 12 shots (and didn't complain about it unlike the recent Mavs game) and played within his limitations. That's what he should do ON A CONSISTENT BASIS. BTW, when somebody shoots 31.7% from long-range as a Rocket and stills takes over five 3-pointers a game, that definitely qualifies as "chucking". Especially the stupid "heat check" shots.
man, you been posting alot of stuff about the Lakers and Celtics lately. You even posted a pic of Magic popping a champagne bottle. Its not a huge deal but i have one brother (a laker fan) that calls me talking about how great Kobe is and another brother (a bandwagoner) who calls me talking about Lebron and the Celts. I kinda come here to get away from that crap.
Our opponets were WIZARDs who have never cared about their defense, in fact he've never played any defense. None of the WIZARDs has some gift or willingness for defense, AZ in particular. If AZ was not sidelined I bet tmac would be gonna score more because of their "friendship". Provided AZ had been able to play tonite's game, then the very chance was that wilt chamberlain would be ranked 3rd on the list of NBA's single-game scoring record. Tmac is always very encouraging and stimulating when he faces such teams like thunders, wizards, bobcats etc. Perhaps he would like to suck when facing teams with good defense, just to show his respect for their defense.
i still think tracy should get more touches in the post. he only got 1 touch in the low post tonight. i think he wanted more touches around those area, when asked about after the mavs game. tracy can't do certain things right now, but he can still post up effectively. btw, he is shooting 40% from 3s this yr. if he's gonna hit at that clip like he has so far, i'll take the heat checks (if it's 1-2 a game).
He's never been a good 3-point shooter. He just shoots them so often that, every now and then, 4 or 5 in-a-row will go in and thrill people. It's just a tease. We all know his 3-point percentage will go back to where it belongs very soon. I've said before that Tracy's shooting touch doesn't determine his FG%. His shot selection does. He could shoot over 50% but he doesn't want to (bad enough). He takes the easy way out. How many times has he started off 8/10 and ended up 12/24? Often when his shot is on, Tracy will simply take worse shots until his percentage goes down. That's just his nature. Anyway, getting the ball in the post is exactly what he should be doing. And he should take every chance to go around his man and try to draw a foul. We need fewer long 2-pointers and more post play, running off screens and attacking the basket. This will sound weird, but Tracy should model his offensive game after Brandon Roy. That would make him a perennial MVP candidate.
I hate to you dude... like 1% of the board knows what game NBA JAM is. they don't know about NBA JAM! http://sportstsar.com/2008/07/08/nba-jam-revisited-western-conference-edition/ Houston Rockets - Hakeem Olajuwon, Vernon Maxwell Bam - perfect combination right here. The Dream would stuff you on one end and then stuff it down your throat on the other, and Maxwell was the outside touch. They HAD to have given Mad Max some extra attributes for his turbo elbow throws based on the fact that he was, well, mad.

I disagree, he is our all star player, its his duty to play well and put up good numbers. We don't have to do a thread for this, this is how it should be. You think the Lakers Fans create a thread each time kobe puts 20+ points and drains 4 wide open 3's...
If you Tmac butt kissers think that Houston is gonna get anything done this year with Tmac just shooting jumpers like he did last game and basically all year then you are all r****ds. He honestly hasn't done **** so far...
bing bing bing bing The Rockets were very fortunate to escape with a win last night. TMac shot well but we *know* he can't be relied on the shoot well.
What are you going to say when in the next couple of games when T-Mac comes out and lays a 3 to 6pt stinker. T-Mac shot the 3 ball well tonight thats all, it probably means he's going to be jacking up a serious volume of 3s tonight against the Magic. Even JVG said it during the game, you don't want to crowd Tracy when defending him, you want to force him into shooting jump shots, which he shoots at a very poor %.
