He got hot with his jumper. That's the most highly variable thing in basketball. If that's what it takes for Tracy to have a good game at this stage in his career, then we have just have to accept he's only going to be good once or twice a week from this point forward.

But see heres the thing BB he was hot so why not keep taking them? I agree he does need to get to the FT line more than 4 times. But I think the reason he didn't attack in the 4th was becasue he felt his shot was on.

tmac is still the leader of this team. we are leet team only if tmac gets 100% recovered. and also yao needs to play in "TRY ****IN STOP ME" mode, not the tofu mode ffs. i would like to see yao get pissed off in every single game.
btw rafer sux donkey balls, he made a big 3 in 4th qtr tho.

this game and many other tells me tmac is a better player in the fourth as well as alston

so what does this mean? tmac and alston should hold off there shooting until the fourth and play the passing game until then

    time after time
    game after game

its the 4th when they start making stuff

Well.....i love T-Mac but i need to wait until i see him actually being consistent with this.....if he can play like this tomorrow, then that's a different story

He's not going to. He shot 7/12 this game and was on fire with that jumper. It won't happen too often.

What can happen more often is him moving like he was, making some hustle plays, and just continue to drive and kick, drive and layup, etc. etc.

I don't mind him shooting as long as he switches it up, as i'm sure is the same with everyone else on this board. If he's hot, let him go for it. If he's not, he has to take it to the rim.

Edit: His form was MUCH better on the 3 point shots though. He used more legs in his shot, instead of jumping high and then releasing with all arms. He had arc on them too. I honestly thought some of them were going to airball because that's not T-Mac's normal shot.

As said before, who cares if he plays like this in the regular season consitantly when he does it EVERY YEAR in the playoffs WHEN IT COUNTS MOST. I don't get why people can't be patient and wait.

We have enough talent now to get far in the playoffs, all our youngs are playing with their full potential and gaining confidence so our veterans can rest until it counts.... IN THE PLAYOFFS.

He got hot and hit some 3-pointers. Fine. But he's a bad 3-point shooter and this isn't what the Rockets need him to do for the team to succeed. The Rockets trailed going into the 4th quarter against this pathetic team because Tracy didn't do zip until he hit those 3s.

I agree it was a better game by tmac, but in no way was it "dominating". Hitting open 3's like that should be expected.. its like shootaround difficulty

However it was a better game compared to his previous

exactly.. however.. Tracy keeps playing within the confines of the offense like he did in the 4th.. and i sincerely doubt there would be one person here who wouldn't be giving him credit..

Tracy has to be a new Tracy.. you want FTs.. you send him to the low post.. at the perimeter he should focus on shooting it upon receiving the open pass.. not holding it and attempting to drive from outside the 3pt line..

Come on guys. You can't b**** about McGrady's game today. You b**** when he misses shots, so its only fair to give him credit when he makes them. The fact that he was the key scorer behind a 4th quarter comeback makes this an even bigger game for Tmac.

Sure, he didn't take it inside, but he shot 50% and without his points in the 4th we don't win the game. You just can't b****. I mean, if this game isn't good enough for you, what is? You paint him as this horrible player but at the same time 20 points on 50%+ shooting and a huge showing in the 4th quarter ISN'T good enough for you?

Give the guy credit for a good game for once.
