i don't see why we wouldn't give mlicki another shot. he pitched a tremendous game 2, and pitched very well during the last stretch of the season.

i also don't see why it matters how fast he pitches. this isn't our number one guy here, and as long as he locates than he's alright. when do glavine and maddux toss it over 90? (of course they're a million times more consistent, w/ better stuff). but the point is when he hits his spots it doesn't matter how fast he throws.

now i'm only a mlicki fan because he's an astro, and it doesn't matter to me who pitches in the 4 spot as long as he's serviceable. but i do think mlicki is qualified to be that guy. plus we're paying him 5 mill so we might as well give him at least a month. i'd be tremendously happy for both redding and carlos to pitch so well that they knock him right out. all that matters is wins baby!
