Agreed. I remember in our last play series i read a fan site of the blazers (blazersedge i believe) and they were really fair and almost balanced in their recaps.

When home court is on the line, they do. And when they are bench scrubs who think they should have been playing all year they play like it is the NBA finals. The Rockets remind me of the Texans two seasons ago. They had multiple chances to win home field throughout the playoffs. They just could not get motivated to do it.

They pretty much hate our team now... I love that. When opposing fans actually like your team it means they don't fear it. Then I bet they felt they had a bright future with toy and Oden so they weren't really scared of our team... Now other fans actually are threatened by our presence...

Harden is 24. Dwight still should have a good decade left and we could be getting Memo or Rondo... So rockets have had a ton of haters lately

They won't choke as bad as that team... This franchise has been to the finals 4 times and won two championships. Texans and Oilers don't even have a super bowl appearance.

The Oilers did win the AFL championship in 1960 and 1961 and appeared in a super bowl as the titans.

Lillard is pooping his little boy pants right now, knowing this is coming at him for the first round in front of a national tv audience.

I like Blazers' fans. And they also understand the pain of losing great players to injury. They're also realists and knowledgeable.

I have no beef with Portland, the city, their players, their team, or their fans. I expect the Rockets to win the series, with or without home court, though hopefully with.

Wrong. Class is not over rated. We don't act like Jazz fans. It's not how we roll.

If a Portland fan say anything. Just say

2007 Draft. That's all that needs to be said.

If I cared what Blazers fans thought or any other fans of other teams for that matter, I would go to their site. These kinds of threads scream overly sensitive; emotional instability fueled by "why doesn't everybody like me, I am somebody" self help BS. Thanks Tony Robbins. Not good character traits for grown men.

Exactly!!! **** all the talk , the game & series will speak for itself!! We should only worry about our team. Worry that Howard shows up to play and doesn't get into foul trouble early!!! Our guys play DEFENSE!!! Parsons starts hitting his 3's!!! The turnovers cease & desist (wishful thinking)! Our guys make their ft's!!

ALL KEYS to winning this and all series!!!!

The Drexler trade and subsequent championship still has to hurt for them. Knowing their best player come to us (came home) and immediately won a championship. Something he could not get with them. We will forever be connected.

Having read this thread in its entirety, I feel the need to defend my team's fanbase.

First, when you are healthy, there is no matchup Blazer fans fear more. If you read our forums, we just matchup terribly against you. We don't fear SA, OKC, LAC or DAL. We fear the Rockets. We also hate playing PHX, GS and MEM.

Second, just as he wants to do, Beverly pisses us off with his borderline illegal play. We think he's allowed to be much more physical than he should be able to with Lillard. My position is if the officials aren't calling it, then Damian needs to stop letting it bother him and get his head back in the game.

Third, we hate the flopping done by your team. I think it's smart basketball, because it has worked since the days of the Bad Boys, but it looks cheap. And please don't try to tell me you don't flop; embrace the truth. It works. McHale coaches it brilliantly. You guys are great at it. Most of us, however, think you're too talented to resort to it. Harden is arguably the best SG in the league; his "Down Goes Frazier" move diminishes his greatness.

What really drives us nuts is when your players run into our players and then fall down like you've been tazed. It's a stylistic thing. For the record, it's why Scola was so hated by us back in the day. It's an effective tactic, you guys are great at it and we're terrible at it. Worse yet, we let the flopping get in our heads. It takes us out of our game.

The bottom line for us is we have a soft team that plays a pretty brand of basketball. It works best when there isn't a lot of clutching, grabbing and grinding. However, that's playoff basketball, and our team needs to adjust to it, not the other way around. So far, we haven't shown an ability to play that style of hoops, which history has shown is winning basketball.

Anyway, I thought I would give you the perspective from the other side. Flame away.
