So let me get this straight...you want to cut their taxes so they have a lots of extra money, but you take issue with them spending that extra money? I thought that's the reason you wanted to make them pay less tax.

OH give me a f-in break. if nothing else proved to me you are just here to rile people up(read: troll) that sentence just did. the few times I have seriously posted in here, I have made it most clear that I find all politicians distasteful and I find politics to be unworthy of my time...I only posted that list cause I heard it mentioned on tv (on frikkin Extra for christ's sake) and found it interesting. There is no valid criticism on this topic, therefore it would be a waste of my time to bother "deflecting criticism" Unless you or the other resident troll can show me any valid reason why the Clinton's (not the US gov*) can not spend a ton of money on their only daughter's wedding, yall are both just whining cause you are part of the "Party that only exists to whine about everything and anything the Dems do". * whining about the cost of the Secret Service is also a non-starter as they have to stick with the people they are assigned to (ex-Pres and current cabinet members are protected no matter where they go)..that is a constant ongoing cost that is a necessary evil in this day and age.

Hey, R2K, this is a Debate and Discussion forum, therefore what you post is up for debate and discussion. I didn't insult or demean you like SamFisher or Batman or major or googrux do. Who lets them get away with that stuff? You posted what you did for a reason. You put it in a public place-- in fact, a forum for Debate and Discussion! But you don't want us to debate or discuss? What's the point? How are we supposed to portend what is intended to playfully bust someone in particular's chops unless you address them directly... hopefully politely. You posted 3 points which deflect some of the criticism aimed at the Clintons and I acknowledged those. Your fourth point about the history of sitting presidential daughter's weddings, in the context it was posted, seemed to be intended to further derail criticism. If you meant it otherwise, you should have said so. It becomes evermore clear that this is only a happy place when it is a one-way street.
I more or less boycotted Chelsea wedding news. Did the wedding actually cost $2 million? Yeah, it is legal, but shame on them nevertheless.

Why shame on them? What's the point in being insanely rich if you can't even spend it on your child's wedding. Isn't that the point of obtaining butt loads of wealth? They give enough to charity - what else is one to do with it all? I don't know - I just think people are confusing spending public money with private money. When Sarah Palin bought all those expensive clothing, it was a sore thumb because it was money from DONATIONS! Clinton is spending his own money. So is Obama's wife. It's not their responsibility that the Secret Service has to get involved and sent tons of agents. That's not her consideration. She isn't the president. She didn't run for office. She wants to take her daughter to Spain, why shouldn't she??? Wow, just wow. People are such rubes in this country.
