a note about the game...anyone that is interested in keeping this series for the archives...keep an eye out..I will have the torrent link up within a day or so after each game.

with that out of the way...

    I can't wait!
We have the best chance of pulling the upset with this series.
It is gonna take everything we have, but it is possible.

oh ye of little faith visagial.....have you no faith in our boy Yao? He will be up for this...no matter how tired he is...this is waht he came here for, and you dont think he is enough of a winner to gutout the fatigue and crankup his level of play against the Fakers?

    I respectfully disagree.

Francis, Mobley, JJ and Yao will ALL be on top of their games for this...and I just hope VG is smart enough to ride the wave of confidence that Boki and PAdge are feeling and use them off the bench. The Lakers wont be expecting them, and therefore may not be prepared for them...

    BELIEVE!!!!!
    We can do this!
    :D:D

I agree R2K, Padge has shown a lot of confidence in his shot, and it has fallen for him.

Boki has put up good numbers in his minutes. His stat lines look great, like 10pts and then 5 of everything all the way across.

Stevie, Cat, and Cato should have LOTS of energy for the matchup on Saturday.

I think this series is not doubtedly going to sell out ALL the playoff tickets in the TC. I really don't see the Shaq vs Yao game in the PLAYOFFs for the first time in 6 years not selling out!

    LETS GO ROCKETS!!!!!

If the Rockets lose mightily and our players get embarassed by the Lakers, there's still the experience to gain and we'll only come back stronger the next year. Shaq may soon retire and when Yao matches up with Shaq for 4-7 straight games, he'll learn a lot. As someone posted earlier, the greats never succeeded without failure.

I think Lakers are a great matchup and the Rockets can learn a great deal from them. If they're gona go out in the 1st round, who better to go out than to the 3 time champs.

Who knows, we might shock the world!

The only positive that will come out of this is that it will turn Yao Ming into a better player playing Shaq at least 4 times consecutively in a playoff atmosphere, probably the best atmosphere in the whole first round in the NBA.

On the other hand, if Malone is out for 2 games, while George and Fox are out for at least 2 games as well, then we could win.

Phil said it's not a light sprain and it's not a heavy sprain. To me that means ho won't miss the series, but he won't be there for the beginning.

Fox hasn't played recently, and when he HAS played, he's been horriffic. George hopefully won't be able to play, he seems to be able to feed off the superstars really well.

Malone said "I'll be alright man" when asked if he'll be erady for the first playoff game.

    Too bad.

I remember an article someone posted on the site about Cuttino Mobley and his playoff experience and how all he remembers was Shaq blocking his final attempt in game 5 and going home with a loss. Cuttino will be back with vengeance.

Guess who's back?!?! Mobleys back!!!!!! Back again!!!!!

And this time he's bringing good company!

I just put that into the babelfish-ebonics.com translator and it told me what you said meant this:

    "YEEEAAAAHHHH!!! EJACULATE! EJACULATE! EJACULATE!"

...and they can say that on the radio?

There are no excuses since the availability is plenty....Laker fan will show up....I promise you they will be there in numbers.....they always come!!! C'mon Rocket fan...go out there and buy your tickets. We need to fill up the arena with Rockets fans and not let the freaking Lakers in!!!

He had a much better opportunity, IMO, back in 98 with the Jazz and missed it. I hope he leaves the league ringless... and I hope the Rockets can help that happen.

It's sad that he will most likely say something like that this weekend, when just 1 day ago he said the Rockets were an embarrasment.
