one last thing... i dont think im a bandwagon fan cuz tmac showed no heart in game 4...the guy was laughing on the bench at the end of the game while his teammates where upset. that kind of pissed me off... say what you want about those who said we showed not heart, and our bench sucks, but i dont think those people are bandwagon fans. i think they're REAL fans...i think most people on clutchfans are REAL fans. At least i hope they are.
Umm.. i never said that, if you read the rest of my posts ive said that i dont mind critisizing, i disagree with fans who change their opinions according to the result of 1 or 2 games. Eg. TMAC played very lethargically in 2 games, now all of a sudden, the guy who carried the team for most of the year, has no heart. Bit of an unfair judgement if you ask me.
hey man, it's all good. i just wanted to see where you were coming from. i agree that the fire jvg threads and trade tmac threads are taking it to far, and a lot of that is garbage. i thought you meant criticizing the team meant that we are not fans...i just wanted to clear that up
Fair enough comment, i agree he shoudln't have been laughing. Doesnt mean that he doesnt show heart though. As i said in my first post, majority og people here are real fans, and i believe you are as well, i jst disagree with the way peoples opinions change over night.
Intelligent post, i must say. I can clearly see where your coming from here. Youve clearly proven me wrong. Well done
I don't give two sh*ts what you think I "should" be doing. I acted like someone who was frustrated and pissed off. Saying that that made me or anyone else less of a fan is far dumber and more childish. People react in a multitude of ways. I don't judge anyone here for being even keeled or overly optimistic followin losses, even if it's to the point of ignoring or glossing many of this team's obvious faults. I accecpt that's just who they are as a person and the way they prefer to see it. Everyone's different. It's high time people on the site recognized that and stopped telling everyone how they should be a fan. That's moronic.
Do you see trading thread about battier? or Yao? or Chuck? Those trading thread on Alston, Juwan or T-mac aren't base on just 1 or 2 bad games. Its based on 2 whole seasons. Many People do believe that the team will be better overall in the "long term" if we can get suitable players to replace them.
You know I support Rockets as much as anyone, and I HATE BANGWAGONERS (and trust me I know plenty)... but there was reason for honest to goodness big time Rockets fans to be frustrated at the Rockets in Utah. They played with 0 heart. I can live with them losing, because I know that is part of the game, but can you please at least try.... I mean I felt like i was showing more emotion screaming at the screen than they were, thats unacceptable. Tonight sure they played great, and I am as happy as anyone about that, but I want to see them play with that fire and intensity on the ROAD. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, end it in game 6, we don't need game 7 drama. Come on Rockets show what you showed tonight in Utah for Game 6... PLEASE SHOW UP TO PLAY, if you lose fine, but prove you can STAY WITH THEM in Utah.
I guess I'm the only one still pissed that if we had played better in those games, or Tracy had even shown up in game 4, this series could already be over. Ain't no bandwagon here. I'm glad we won game 5, but it ain't covering up the fact that we have no excuse for not playing much better in games 3 and 4. And even if we win this series, I sure as hell ain't forgetting Tracy walking the ball up as the clock was winding down. Mercurial doesn't even begin to describe his ass.
They have to play a lot better then todays (especially on defense) if they wanna win game 6. (or Utah can play a lot worst....... )
Just because guys have oponions on the game whether negative or positive, doesnt mean they are not fans. Tmac came out and did the damn thing tonight, but that doesnt change the fact that he played lazy, gutless ball in Utah. By the way, nobody should be excited, this series is not over...
Exactly, people are getting excited about winning this. I hope Rockets aren't... They better be preparing (hopingfully studying tapes or shooting around or whatever) because game 6 they need to prove they belong not only as a Team with a chance to WIN IT ALL, but even in same catagory as Utah. If we get blown out by 10+ pts in Utah, that says something about us... and we have to barely beat them at home... Guys we need these Rockets to win in Utah, it will be huge not only for now, but for future rounds, some of these young players (head) and even some older ones (yao, tmac, battier) who haven't gone anywhere in playoffs need Road wins for confidence, because in all likelyhood, we are not gonna be homecourt throughout.... BUT maybe... Jazz, Warriors, Nuggets, Anyone But Pistons, that would be pretty cool (except for fact Nuggets killed any chance of advancing tonight)...
Juwan had a very solid year last year. 12 points and 7 rebounds isnt bad for 13 year veteran. Sure he is overpaid, but you cant complain about is production. This year he stepped it up tremendously when Yao went down. As for TMAC he had a career year this year. Most people had him as the MVP behind Dirk n Nash. Last year he was stung by injury bad. On that note, who would you want as a replacement for TMAC so that we will be better overall in the "long term", thinking realisticly so dont tell me Lebron, Wade or Kobe etc. He is still only 28 so you should be thinking real long term.
Oh believe me this thing isnt over. I just started this thread to point out how peoples perception of the player changes depending on the result. Rockets need to probably improve by 10% on tonights performance to c;lose out the series in Utah CMON FELLAS FINISH IT!!
Personally I'm not sure, since I can't see anyone wanna take t-mac in a trade. He's still 28, but he had basically given up if you look at the body language. Even if he still have that killer instinct to win, his back problem won't go away.

They just annpy me because people base them on 1 or 2 games. Thats the point of my whole thread
So "everyone's different" is the magic pill that takes away all of the bullsh!t you post when you get your panties in a twist over a basketball game? Please. I don't care what a pillow biter you are about a first round playoff loss (i.e. "frustrated and pissed off"), but I do care that I have to wade through 300 stupid posts that add *nothing* to the conversation. Should we anoint you SuperFan because you cursed out the Rockets over and over again in large fonts and pretty colors in game four? Now you want a pat on the back because you acted like a fool? People don't go around throwing parades for the village idiot just because they live in the same town. It sounds like you just want recognition for being an infant. There you go...we recognize you're different. You are "accecpt"ed. Happy?
Except in Juwan's case, you will call him out regardless. Even after he plays well, you still type "Juan" like he had nothing to do with us winning. How else can you explain why you think we'd be worse off if Howard was healthy for the Mavs series two years ago? He was playing well before that happened. He was our starting PF, and we lost him.
