Dude it's going to fall on deaf ears.

If we lose game 6 in Utah, which we probably will (unless T-Mac plays like tonight again, Yao beasts Okur, and the role players step up big time), you are going to see just as many bashing, firing, trading, etc. threads as last time...

For me, it wasn't the outcome of losing, it was T-Mac's body language. Well, tonight he stepped it up, his body language has changed and that's all I asked for. The win was no coincidence, but having the bench show up was nice too.

Being critical is fine. The Rockets justly deserved it. What surprises me is the venom some people will spew via their keyboard. I don't expect everyone to be an optimist, but I seriously wonder why some people here even follow the Rockets.

If one win can blind your eyes and kiss all the asses, you are just a groupie, not a fan of basketball.

When TMAC had no heart and Yao was soft and sucked, did you cheer for them?

    Thread of the year.

The posts we see after EVERY loss is sickening. Not just in the playoffs, but in the regular season as well.

All this fire JVG talk. Where's Bonzi!? V-Span time!!! Rafer's a bum. Our bench blows. How come we don't play with the same kind of heart GSW does? T-Mac, we thought it was all on YOU. Rick Carlisle a good fit for Houston? How about Stephen Jackson? Maybe Matt Barnes? Fire JVG!!!! This is what happens when JVG doesn't play rookies. Where's Novak!?! T-Mac "first time" optimisim? And all this other junk.

    It's sick.

And like you said, after every win, people jump back on the bandwagon.

Who else wore their rocket hat, shirt or jersey on Sunday? yea we took a big hit. we were down by 15 in game 4, that game was all but over, but not the season by any stretch. its not going to be easy to win 4 and it wasnt any easier tonight. i will watch every minute of the remaining games win or lose just as i watched every last minute of game 7 in the dallas series. love hurts, who else loves this team? who else fought off any negative comments by anyone on suday? who else put on their rockets gear after the ugliest loss of the series?

99% of the people on this board want the Rockets to win. That's all it takes to be a fan. You think people on this board are vile after a loss - you should come out her to NYC - or worse - go to Philly or Boston, where all they got to do is obsess about their sports teams.

I'm so sick of this whole bandwagoner stuff - like some person who says the Rockets are going to win the championship is more of a fan than someone who says they are not. That's like saying someone who says we'll win in Iraq is more American than someone who says it's a losing affair. Geez - do you actually think that way????

It's one thing to constructive criticize the play of Yao/T-Mac/The Rockets/the coaching job by JVG.

But, we lose 2 in a row, and people are calling for the most outlandish and ridiculous things.

Go check page 2 most of 3, and whatever after that.

    T-Mac should have Kobe heart!!!

Howard and T-Mac should take a paycut!!

T-Mac goes off tonight, and front page, T-Mac's back!!!!

    Chill out guys.

Look at the bigger picture here.

We won 2 games at home, like we should have.

Utah protected their home court, like they should have.

We game back and protected home court again, winning the pivotal game 5.

Let's not all just jump up and down just yet.

Because we don't the Rockets to lose Game 6, and then these same idiot 'fans' come back with the FIRE JVG chants or whatever it is they choose to post.

matty......how did you think the bench performed in game 3 and 4...you're lying if you think they played well. If you want to say those are bandwagon fans, then YOU'RE NOT A FAN IF YOU WEREN'T CRITICAL OF THEIR PLAY....

bandwagon fans are fans who root for their team only when they're playing well....bandwagon fans cheer for other teams when their team is not doing well. bandwagon fans are the people who never bothered to go to a single regular season rockets vs celtics games, but go when they're good and in the playoffs....

you have the definition of bandwagon all wrong. if you question tmac's effort in game 4, that doesnt make you a bandwagon fan. you say the bench sucked ass, thats doesnt make you a bandwagon fan.

i agree with the fire jvg threads...but lets hold ppl accountable. when the bench sucks, sure there doesnt need to be a thread about it, but people will be realistic and call them out...when tmac shows no heart, i have no problem with people talking about it and being upset about it...

Honestly i can say that throughout this whole season i have stuck true to the rockets, including the playoffs. I have cheered for them the whole year and have not once turned my back on them.

Thats what a fan does. Fans can disagree with decisions the coaches make, and they can disagree with decisions a player makes, however they DON'T instantly turn their back on them. Juwan and Luther have been good for us all year, now all of a sudden there not? JVG took an injury riddled team and prepared them for every game and drove them to 52 wins, now we should fire him? TMAC and YAO have had career years, now we should trade one and the other is soft?

real fans take everything into account, they don;t just jump on the bandwagon and ride it while we win, then jump off and insult us when we lose.

    Yes.

Fans can also hold players accountable and say that they're flat out playing like crap...

Im all for constructive criticism. I think a fan has the right to do that. however its the people who, after 2 poor games, are saying that Juwan and Luther suck and we should buy out/trade them or if after 2 losses, we should fire JVG, then start a petition for him to be Coach of The Year after 4 wins.

I live in Sydney so i cant go to the games. But i do watch them on tv/computer whenever im not at school/not capped :D

matty, i dont know what channel you were watching during game 3 and 4, but let me know. you must be seeing something different, if you had no opinion or no criticism to dish out after those gams...let me know what telecast you've been watching, cuz it's obvious you've been seeing something different

oh yeah. well i agree. those threads are just stupid...but most of that is just being upset with their current play off the bench.

but to say that the team has no heart or determination...thats how it looked man. it looked like tmac was just doggin it sometimes....he stepped up big tonight. he needs to do it one more time, and i think he will...

As i said i dont mind constructive criticism, i do not agree however when people are asking for TMAC, Juwan and Luther to be traded, because of to bad games. Or to say that no one in the rockets has any heart because of 2 bad games. Point out what they did wrong by all means, but please, keep it realistic and in perspective according to the rest of the year

Nice Rollin, im not calling you out, im just pointing out what i disagree with on this board. Dont take it personally mate
