Even before his injury, MoT was one of the softest players in the NBA. I hope your prediction comes true, but since he's entering his 6th season( not counting the injury), I'd be suprised if he went through that kind of change.

No matter what MoT's offensive numbers are, the fact remains that a power forward should rebound, unless he's got some CRAZY game like Dirk Nowitzki. As it is, MoT is a good offensive player, not a great one, and there's no excuse for a post player to get outrebounded by the point guard.

Eddie has the potential to become a good player, I think everyone agrees on that. He just doesn't work hard. Not even JVG, the taskmaster, can fix that. I think EG needs to light himself on fire and not the blunts him and MoT be rolling...

true... its too bad we have two pothead power forwards who are too lazy to rebound and play defense... Griffin blocks shots because its easy for him, but as far as playing man to man defense, he'd rather be at High Times picking out a bigger bowl for his bong...

Actually, Nowitzki gets about 10 boards a game.

I've always thought that if MoT toned up, and lost some of the fat he has on his body, he could be very special.

When he plays, you feel the extra weight is pulling him down, and I can't help but think that he'd get one or 2 more reboudns a game if he were lighter but just as strong.

As for Eddie, I'm just waiting to hear that he's put on TONS of muscle. I don't care how, I just want to know he added as much muscle as he did last year AT LEAST.

irregardless of your disdain for the word; it is in the dictionary, and shall remain. The way I like to use it is satirically, if not ironically...like

"Irregardless of your attempt to correct my spelling, your use of Xs and Os make no sense."

    lol

Note that scouting reports and conclusions are revised on a constant basis my the pros. We should all do the some. Sometimes we get stuck making predictions and don't want to be proven wrong by history. Well, that really isn't something a scout should worry about...A GM/Coach would say...just tell me about the here and now so I can make a decision.

So, my scouting of Griffin was first voiced by crash on this BBS, who nailed it early, imo. It was obvious, quickly, that the guy did not improve. And the Rockets had to make a "conclusion" / decision. That decision was to trade Kenny now or in the Summer. It really wasn't a decision about Eddie; it was a decision of Kenny based on the state of Eddie.

my point is that those scouting reports were about the state of Eddie, not his potential... so Eddie conclusions are dynically changing as the team changes.
