According to Turkish media, Anadolu Efes Istanbul reached an agreement with Donatas Motiejunas. The Lithuanian PF/C has started the season in Poland with Asseco Prokom Gdynia averaging 12.7ppg and 7.9rpg in Euroleague First Round.
Motiejunas has been selected in the 2011 NBA draft by Minnesota Timberwolves and then traded to the Houston Rockets.
The deal should be official in the next hours. Efes is struggling in the frontline with the injuries occurred to Kerem Gonlum and Ermal Kuqo.

UPDATE: A source close to the player said that Donatas Motiejunas didn't reach any agreement yet with Anadolu Efes. Motiejunas is targeted by at least two other teams who are Khimki Moscow and Azovmash Mariupol. The same source just added that seems very unlikely for Motiejunas to join Anadolu Efes Istanbul. The player is now in Moscow for the game vs CSKA Moscow where scouts from Rockets are expected to be and watch him.
