Great read, this kind of annoyed me though. I always felt like part of the reason why KG ended up in Boston and not somewhere else is because of McHale's ties to the franchise. Maybe Boston had the best package for him, maybe they didn't but the idea of two GMs discussing making a Paul Pierce-Garnett fantasy team, and then doing it, rubs me the wrong way.
KG was awesome but I beg to differ when they refer to him as the first/skilled versatile bigman. Ralph Sampson was the OG to KG in that regard.
