in a year and a half im trying to plan a trip to europe. what countries, wether to get a train to go from one to another etc.

but a bike tour sounds like it would be fun even if just for part of it.

how would you go about getting the actual bike though? meaning if you started in italy and stopped in poland what would you do with the bike?

weird. I just got this emailed to me from my ex in Amsterdam, because it mentioned Houston. If you are going to be in Amsterdam this weekend, there is a bike festival. Somewhat an Art Car festival for bikes with a "dream bike tour" through the whole city on Saturday.

If you are not trained in riding a bike that might be a bit far. What you could do is go by train to a new city, and rent a bike in that city for some time, and do some cycling around that city, and afterwards go to the new city by train.

Deckard when you do visit Holland let me know.
Holland is a very popular vacation country for German tourists. especially our beaches (when i was young i also visited the dutch beaches, and there were a lot of Germans there).

The netherlands is an ideal country for bike rides, since it is pretty flat so even if you are not trained it is good to do.

The Paris location is actually owned by David Mebane, an A&M grad. The Berlin location is owned by Wolf, a UT German Grad.
