oh man....that would be sweet. This sounds like wild speculation....his relationship to Coach Pops and the spurs dont sound like he will go. Whats his contract sitch? Are the spurs dealing with salary cap or something?

I'm the biggest Manu fan out there (hi heypartner) but this guy is done. Amico sucks and has never been right, btw.

I've never liked Manu - but this year I can't even make the case that "Oh well, I dislike him but he is good".

Depends on what the salary would be. He was, for the most part, pretty bad in this past postseason. And he's always an injury concern. But vet experience would be valuable.

I don't see Manu taking a large paycut to play for someone other than the Spurs.

I also don't see why people keep posting Amico "rumors".

Got to fill the Argentinian quota.

    (But it's Amico... we'll see)

That would be excellent for the Spurs fan torture value. Manu glued to the bench while we destroy them in a playoff series would be superb. Then he'd come out in garbage time to throw down a few old man dunks. Seems very unlikely to happen though.

This should solve our turnover problems.

He should stay with the Spurs or retire.

I still can't get over that embarrassing Finals performance.

    TURRIBLE!

Definite pass. Even if he could still play at a high level he's always hurt. No thanks.

Er, no. His recklessness singlehandedly lost SA the series. Minus his wild play they had that series in 6.

He's too old anyway (35), on the downslope of life. I don't want to spend the cap space it would take to get him.
