yeah i was pretty shocked when they announced them. kinda lame that yet ANOTHER singer wins america's got talent. not saying singing isn't talent but there are plenty of other shows dedicated to that.
I would have been okay with any of PopLyfe, Landau or Iluminate winning. I was freaking PISSED that Silhouettes made it into the final 2. I would have sworn off the show and America in general had they voted Silhouettes the winner.
I love a rags to riches story. Landau definitely deserved it, but I was shocked to know that iLuminate came in 3rd. The head lady for iLuminate is actually from Clear Lake.
It's the only reason to watch these shows. Landau is an average singer with a hook and a story and made turned it into something incredible.
I feel the exact same way. I thought the niche of trying to get away from shows like American Idol was to have a reality show with ppl displaying other talents. But in the end its just a show where the singers win again. LAME!!!
Same thing I said to my wife, if the kid group or the silhouettes had won, it woulda been obviously fixed in favor of kids and I wouldnt have kept track next time. I was thinking it would be iluminate or Landau, either one seems like a Vegas casino show to me...I dont personally believe young kids should be doing a long term show in Vegas, the CoC may be tryin to push a more family friendly vibe, but its still a town built on adult activities.
