When you slandered a company with nothing to back up your claims, that’s what happens.

Meanwhile trumps ****whit lawyers drop their cases to avoid perjury...

I looked at a bunch of articles and none of them mention the name of Dominions law firm.

Right. There isn't much to argue about in court when the facts and bs are day and night, except for, is it 1.3B or 300M?

    Powell cold sweating.

It's likely some highly regarded boutique law firm 99% of the world hasn't heard of before that charges a fee larger than the gdp of a small island nation.

Also true. Big shot and boutique. I actually think they're married.

It's going to be some fascinating cases. Sidney Powell's best defense is probably claiming that she is bat s crazy, lol, and really believes what she spews.

    Day late. Dollar short.

Mere days before Trump gets the boot, this "death bed conversion" is a superficial attempt to not get sued into the ground. They only showed contrition after their slanderous Dominion story no longer served their purpose.

I hope that Dominion gets their pound of flesh.

They might have a general council on the books at Dominion writing the letters. They would have an outside legal firm only take over when they went to trial. My father used to be employed as such. Lots of reason to have a lawyer on the payroll for a company that has to navigate election law.

It's disappointing, but it seems Dominion is basically just demanding these retractions as an alternative to suing them for damages. I wish they'd pursue both - not only for compensation, but so they can go through the discovery process and see all the internal discussions of who pushed the fake stories, etc.

I would think they see such efforts as ultimately bad for business if they want GOP elected officials to ever order more Dominion machines in their counties.

The funniest one was that crazy blonde B in Detroit who got the letter and very publicly responded via the press, "You kaint tell me what to do!"

When everybody else is diving out of the way, swallowing their pride to protect their wallet, she decides she's going to try and start a Mexican standoff with the 300 lb legal gorilla giving her the stink eye.

I guess if you're broke AF and your life is a wreck, who cares about an uncollectable judgement for few billion against you?

They're going to file other lawsuits too. Just found a legal podcast with them on it...
