Its the principle behind it. I was really pissed about Average Joe 2 but I didnt say anything. Now the same subject came up again so I put in my 2 cents. I know I dont have 200,000 posts like some of these guys but I feel like I have just as much right to be treated with respect as they do. We werent being ****ty about it. We asked nicely and we get smart ass responses like "Dont read the Hangout" and "Police Yourself". Most people would just apologize and not do the same in the future. At least I would.
Baiter, Sorry if it sounds pissy, I just don't agree with you. I certainly respect your thoughts as a poster, regardless of the questionable handle. DD
How can something be a spoiler if it's already over? If so how long until something is not a Spoiler? Is there a time limit (days, weeks, months?) until something isn't a spoiler. Should every thread be titled a spoiler until everyone says it is not current news? When we started bombing Iraq should the trheads be titled as spoilers since some haven't got a chance to watch CNN yet? How about posting scores of Rockets games should they be titled spoilers until a week after the game in case someone didn't get a chance to see it. Again I'm not trying to start anything but if you are watching TV shows 2 days after they happen and still have time to post on the internet, why don't you drop the mouse, walk to your VCR (or DVD or TiVO) watch the old shows and catch up to the rest of us!
4chuckie is right though. The reason you put the topic IN the thread title is to draw attention to it, and to generate discussion. If we all have to succumb to everyone with a VCR or Tivo players whims the board gets much less interesting. DD
For the record, only 1/4 of the American Idol results show was ruined for you. No need for petty b****ing. Having said that, I do agree that thread titles should be generic and not contain spoilers.
Back on topic....anyone else wish that Katie made it into the top 12? Aside from the nose thing, she was kinda hot! I also loved her performance in the first week - "Wham! Bam! da da da da..". It, and her outfit, really showed off her personality. Instead we got Sam Gamgee (John Peters)
LOL. My wife and I have been calling him "The Hobbit" for weeks now. Also, we call that girl Jasmine "Lilo" (from Lilo and Stitch).
