Thanks for the update. On a related note, American Idol will / can survive and thrive without Simon (and Abdul).
It will be different, but I could see both aspects without Simon. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Ellen as a judge.
Its going to be great without Paula. Ellen will add to it. Without Simon, I don't think it can survive. But, he may just be posturing for a new, huge contract.
Just watching the commercials for this show during my brief periods of NFL bliss make me want to punch my TV. Folks who watch this show should be ashamed. Douchebags who audition should be kicked in the shins.
Think he is leaving a sinking ship. There are so many people out there that could replace him no problem.
